DETROIT (Bloomberg) -- Fiat S.p.A. may not reach a labor agreement for workers at its Mirafiori factory before Christmas, CEO Sergio Marchionne said.

“I've got a couple of plan Bs,” Marchionne said at an event in Michigan on Monday. “I don't mean this as a threat. I have to run the business. I'm not on someone else's clock.”

“There is dialogue going on -- I don't know if I would call them negotiations,” he told reporters following an event at a Chrysler factory.
