Pontiac Grand Prix Replacement

Recommended Posts

Here comes my not-to-my-mind sketching again :P

Posted Image

Styling somewhat inspired by the Alfa 159.

This one will be built on the Zeta (or whatever you call it, as long as it's RWD) sedan.

Rear end somewhat looks like the upcoming Holden Commodore, but restyled for Pontiac. Somewhat looks like the Pursuit Coupe or G6 coupe. Tailpipes are flush with the bumper. Those are LEDs surrounding the regular light bulb. Trunk Uses electronic release only, with emergency key cylinder hidden under Pontiac arrow. Cup holders on door, with cooling/heating pad to keep drinks cold or warm. All Radio and HVAC controls will be flush mounted onto center console.

Retains most features found in the current Grand Prix, e.g. the 90-degree doors, sloping coupe-ish rear end.

Powertrain options:

SE: Direct Injected 3.6L VVT DOHC V6 @ 275 hp

GT: Turbocharged DI 3.6L VVT DOHC V6 @ 330hp

GTP: 6.0L V8 with AFM @ 400hp

Limited Edition GXP: Turbocharged V8 developing 600hp (concept engine)

Long wheelbase version can be considered as well, with more upscale features, and replaces the Bonneville.
