Bad news: air filters I buy a lot of for lawn mowers just went from $2.99 to $7.99....a 167% motherf@#king increase!

How does that go with the story line?

Good news: the infinitesimally small chance that a DNA test could be wrong worked in your favor. This woman's father is a potato farmer from Pocatello.

(Had to bring it all back together somehow...)

Good News: He died from noxious fumes coming from rotten potatoes before he could add this to his will.

This is actually a true story by the way, a family was wiped out by this from rotten potatoes in their basement:

Not sure how that fits into the story line?

Nothing like resurrecting dead threads when you're bored, right?

...while ignoring new ones ... LOL!

Continuing the story....

Bad news: you moved to Battle Creek.

Good News, The Seattle Bore Tunnel machine never stopped digging and surfaced in Michigan giving you access to escape to the Pacific North West.

Bad news, The ends of the tunnel collapsed shut with you in the middle.

(I so read the original post wrong and thought I was supposed to be doing the good and bad together, I feel a bit stupid now).

We'll since we changed the style of flow from a single good to bad on the next post to good and went with good and bad on the same post, I will adjust to the new flow.

Good News, your outgoing Director who was paid $300,000 a year gets a bit tipsy at her going away party and is telling you interesting tidbits about the dynamics of others so you know what to expect.

Bad News, she also let slip that she feared not finding a decent replacement for you at your last appraisal and when they wanted to promote you and she torpedoed you on purpose to keep you from leaving.

Well, I'm a bit lost now, we had left some people stranded in a tunnel and now we're at the mother-in-law's and drinking with the boss.

Good news:  You got your boss fired and took her job using the information from her night of drunkenness.

Bad news: You're now being investigated by the FBI, SEC, and IRS for some discrepancies that occurred under her watch.

Good News: The company asks you to review all the fired boss info with the FBI, SEC and IRS to help clean up the mess you inherited and they are giving you a bonus for cleaning up a dark moment for the company.

Bad News: Your future mother in laws Persian rug is a total loss.

Nothing like blending two stories into one! :P

Good news, you've found where there might be a beautiful rug to replace the ruined one.

Bad news, it appears to currently be in a moving van trapped in a tunnel between Washington and Michigan.

There, that should bring the two stories back together....in theory.

Good news, Your future mother in-law forgave you for the carpet and understands your getting a new one. Better yet, FBI, SEC and IRS arrested your hellish old boss and closed the books on your company.

Bad news, You still have to figure out how to get the rug from the truck trapped in the tunnel between Washington and Michigan.
