Bloomberg is reporting that Fisker has hired hired Huron Consulting Group Inc. to help with day to day operations and to conserve cash while it goes searching for a partner. As we reported last Monday, Fisker is currently looking for a partner in China.

Two people familiar with the situation say Fisker is currently seeking first-round bids by early February. If Fisker doesn't get the funds or has a partner by midyear, the company risks burning through cash a person tells Bloomberg.

“We’re making prudent business decisions to help secure an alliance or partnership,” said Fisker spokesman Roger Ormisher.

Death is on their Doorstep, Someone will pick it up for a prize as Companies would rather pickup bankrupt assets than to partner up with a money burning company.

My gut tell's me Death for Fisker by March.

Bankrupt = Asset Sale by April or May.

Haters gotta hate, that's how they roll. :)

Anyhoo, the Destino idea is quite interesting..maybe GM could acquire Fisker...the Destino could be an interesting Panamera competitor for Corvette if modified a bit....(the Karma reminds me a lot of what a 4dr Corvette could look like).

You don't get to complain about jellybean styling by a domestic manufacturer ever again and I'm shocked you would ever wish a domestic manufacturer that is trying something new to fail entirely as a company.
