im confused... what is this? it looks like the front end of the last gen thunderbird...

whats with the paint? i see purple, yellow, black, pink and red... why?

with this perspective you should see part of the decklid... why dont i?

in general the back is confusing... it doesnt work with the front end... front end is small, sleek... rear is big and bulky...

and those bling rims are killing me

IT'S "POP ART" ....HOT ROD STYLE CAR ART.

That's all, ....Andy Warhol color meets Detroit.

yea, they ARE reflections and lighting that cause the "twisted" imagery, on purpose to get your attention

....this stuff is about the FEEL not the technique.

See, as artists and designers we tend to see things very differently

than the average joe, he sees a HOT ROD FORD DOING A BURNOUT

....and buys it for that feeling it gives to him....

NOT because it is a technially correct rendering...LOL !

BUT it is acurate...under these lighting conditions you would NOT see the decklid which IS still there, as is the lower facia too...

BUT the lighting obscures them under this "set" as it is lit up.

It is a perception trick, to accentuate the streamline look and FEEL of the pix.

ILLUSION.

As for the rims !...go talk to FORD they put them on this car...

...it is the Ford 49 concept car from last year.

This is a very SIMPLE image, most of my ARTwork is much more deep than this,

BUT the first impression is what grabs your attention....

...Good or Bad it gets to you.

THAT is objective #1 for an ARTIST. (made ja look !)...LOL.

It is HARD as hell to do all the time too !

BUT, it's my JOB...Ya'Know what I mean ?

I remember you from GMI. I realize you're passionate about your work, but please leave the condescending tone out and learn to take constructive criticism. I consider myself an artist, yet I tend to prefer realism to abstract art. People have different tastes about the types of art they like. There's no need to get defensive if others don't see works of art from the same perspective as you do.

You're right about not seeing the decklid, but it's not because of the lighting...it's due to the angle of the photography and the rear taper of the 49's decklid. The original image:

JEEZ, I am NOT being condensending AT ALL.

Just talk'in...PLEASE do not take what I say that way as it is NOT intended in that manner AT ALL... OK?

I DO NOT tell anybody what to like or not, nor do I care if anyone LIKES what I do or not...THAT is NOT my problem as an Artist.

IF THAT sounds condensending...

IT IS NOT.... it is just being practical, that's all.

If I chased after every sugesstion or comment to what I do...I would NEVER do anything for attempting to appease everyone !.

..know what I mean ??

I am not a "designer" by profession,...it says Artist after my name because I do this in spite of anything....I am compelled...LOL

(that is defined as "cursed" to most folks !...LOL)

...& you are correct about the deck lid ...it's the DESIGN

...and as lit or photoed, ...you do not see it but it is THERE !

BUT, I thought THAT would be too condenseding to point out !

HMMMM.....THX. I DO appreciate your comments,... very much so.

along the lines of what mustang said... i think your use of caps makes it seem condescening... if you want to stress a word try underlining... or bold... or italics... caps can make it seem a bit condescending

as far as what i said... i idnt know that this was a concpet released by ford... i thought you had create this... so i apologize... but yes the multi-tone paint job is eye catching...
