1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra from Motorweek

Recommended Posts

When they added the chrome wheels and venti ports this car looked pretty good, although even with that still not a 10 in styling. The interior for the price was better than a 4, it wasn't that bad. I've never seen Buick as a luxury brand, for John Davis to say they are the top selling luxury brand, look at how many Centurys and Regals they were selling in the $20k range and even the LeSabre was high $20s.

Up against their contemporary competition, yea they were a 10 in looks. The interiors were wide and flat with billboard sized fonts for Buick's target customer. They were trying to be an American Jaguar XJ on the outside but dropped the ball inside.
