Too low to the ground for me, but cool to see.

Wow, never heard of this car. The finished product looks really nice, but I'm definitely not in the market for an $11,000 project car.

What was the other car?

Personally, I have no interest in this 'Euro' type of styling; way too disjointed to me when 2 years later one could get a '53 Corvette that looks 25 years more modern than this, but it's always cool to see actual examples of cars otherwise you've only seen in books.

That is a lovely auto. Nice to see some people truly take care of rare metal! :D

WOW, Looking at the auto selling companies web site pictures, the attention to detail on this E. A. auto is amazing for the time. Too bad he could not get it down to being at least a break even project. I am sure the Big three at the time did all they could to snuff his auto dreams out. Much like they did for the Tucker Torpedo.

That is quite an interesting car indeed. I don't much care for the exterior looks, but that interior looks understatedly sumptuous and it has a good story behind it, as well as the pride of being all-American.

dfelt- the Big 3 overbearing on Tucker was exaggerated in the movie/ many breezy accounts of the history.

Edwards wasn't even on the Big 3's radar.
