Stripped-back Porsche GT3 RS blurs the line between road and race

Porsche has used the 2015 Geneva Motor Show to unveil its most track-ready, stripped-back 911 yet – the 911 GT3 RS. Powered by a a 4.0-liter flat six engine that develops 373 kW (500 hp) and 458 Nm (338 lb.ft), the new generation RS is 0.8 seconds faster to 60 mph than the outgoing GT3 RS 4.0, with a sprint time of 3.1 seconds on the way to a top speed of 193 mph.

Body design is interesting for the tweaks but the HP to Torque is pathetic and this is such a tired old design. Porsche really needs to come up with a new auto design. 

 

How is this any different from the 1999 original GT3!

I know what you're saying. Porsche designers have the easiest job in the world. But I kinda understand what Porche is trying to demonstrate by not changing the design in a dramatical manner. Yea, you are right about that ratio, but we all know that their new cars are all about handling.

No excuse for what is clearly piss poor laziness on behalf of their designers. Yes they have perfected handling, but now how about perfecting some sexy designs that are not 16 year warmed up left overs
