NINETY EIGHT REGENCY

MotorWeek | Retro Review: '88 Luxury Road Trip Comparo ( Cadillac vs Lincoln)

Recommended Posts

This was a nice trip down memory lane.  The Cadillac Brougham was essentially unchanged from a 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham other than trim, engine, and transmission.  The 1988 Brougham brought back the 1981 grille with all the small squares.  I drove a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance once, and I was thinking, yep, this feels like a land yacht.  Steering was completely without feel and could easily be controlled using a single finger.
