Ford Mustang: World's Best-Selling Sports Car in Early 2015; Production Begins on Right-Hand-Drive Model

- Mustang is the world's best-selling sports car in the first half of 2015, according to IHS Automotive global registration data

- Global Mustang momentum continues to build as production of the right-hand-drive model officially kicks off at Flat Rock Assembly Plant

- 2015 marks first year Mustang is available to customers around the world in more than 100 markets and the first time a right-hand-drive model will be widely available

Not bad at all, considering the RH drive model has not even been made yet.

Congrats to Ford.

Very cool indeed, Congrats Ford.

This does bring up one item I have always wondered about as I went to college in Japan and after the US rebuilt it after world war 2, they changed so many things but let the country go with right hand drive auto's, why not like Korea and China go with left hand models?

For the part, why has the world not standardized on one type to simplify the building of auto's for a global market?

I always wondered why left over right or right over left? Any Idea's or Thoughts?
