2006 Chevrolet HHR LT: Regular Car Reviews

Recommended Posts

This guy is nothing but a hack. He takes some truth and some distortion to do slam pieces on cars,

The truth here was Lutz needed a quick new model to turn some numbers and attract attention when GM was flat Broke.

The HHR was done cheap and has proven reliable. It was not set to fight the carolla it was to be a Cobalt wagon that would sell in numbers greater than 20,000 units per year. It was one of the higher Chevy volume models.

Sure the HHR was far from perfect but it did its job fir what it was intended.

I may sell mine soon and I will miss it. It has been fun and functional. Also based on a friend selling his SS recently with more stone chips, miles and a broken windshield I should be able to sell mine for more than half what I paid. Few cars can do that today at 8-9 years old.
