Pricing for Natural Gas-Powered Civic Announced

Posted Image

Honda has announced today pricing of the Honda Civic GX, the Civic that runs on natural gas.

"The 2006 Civic GX, which achieves an EPA estimated city/highway fuel economy of 28/39 miles per gasoline-gallon equivalent, goes on sale today with an MSRP of $24,440."

Civic GX buyers would enjoy a $5,000 total tax credit: $4,000 for the vehicle purchase and $1,000 for the purchase of the Phill home refueling station.

Although natural gas-powered vehicles are nothing new, you have to commend Honda for proving another alternative that runs on a domestically-sourced fuel.
