That is just about how I would have actually order that from Ford back in the seventies. Amazing. I like that even better than the black.

Fastback Mustangs of the era look good slightly crusty with Cragers...

I like the 'flatback' fastback '71-73s also...the styling reminds me a lot of the Aussie Falcon of the era and the '70-71 Torinos. 

These look huge but are really only about an inch longer than the 2015+ model.

That generation was not my favorite design, but I am gobsmacked by the 'Verts!!!!

I don't recall seeing one as a convertible before...?

Ford actually re started the production line to build more 'verts after they got a public outcry for more 'verts in 73. Full size Ford Ragtops went away in 72, never to return.

I have a burning fetish for the 72 full size as well. Not a fan of a lot of the mainstream stuff Ford built the alst few decades...but when they get it right they really get it right.

Passed a beautiful white Taurus Limited parked near where the Fusion Sport usually parks here on Campus. Now if that Limited had only been an SHO....
