Where to start:

"Triumph of British Engineering"

So this guy has to burn rubber to figure out that

a 3700lbs. 2+2 midsize coupe with every power

option excet for a auto. trans. will get bested at

a race track by a 2500lbs. race car with a license

plate and two seats?

This is like giving Jackie Chan a Katana & having

him fight Michael Moore who is armed with rocks.

This car is sexy, sleek and will be even batter with

Ecotech power instead of that Corolla motor. White

with balck rims never looked so good!

Also, this just might be the only car EVER to be more

uncomfortable to get in & out of than my 68 Camaro

with my aluminum race seat. It's like you're shrink

wrapped in fiberglass.

There's a dealer near me, so I see these go-karts nearly daily. Everyone driving them looks like the antagonist in Wild Wild West: cut off at the waist. It's a freaky optical illustion, but it looks like there's no possible room for a full torso & legs. Not sure that's an attractive image.

I was 2 minues away from climbing in one at my buddy's detailing shop when the owner walked in. However, it did not take long at all to see the shoddy fit & finish on these.

my bad XLR... Of course I know they're super lilghtweight

and I remember the 1st gen. Elise to be just about 2000

pounds I just assumed the roof and modern safety

equiptment (power windows, radio?) had taken their toll.
