# Cheers & Gears

> Cheers & Gears is an independent automotive enthusiast and journalism community founded in 2001. With 25+ years of continuous publication, the site combines professional automotive journalism with an active enthusiast community. Editorial staff hold memberships in the International Motor Press Association (IMPA), Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA), and Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA).

The site publishes original automotive news, reviews, opinion pieces, and industry analysis. Content is written by credentialed automotive journalists and knowledgeable community contributors with deep brand and segment expertise.
