Edmunds says people are averaging about $700 off the price of a Terrain with negotiating. Dealer south of here has a sharp Cyber Gray SLE-1 AWD at $26,745 MSRP. I was looking at 2.5L XLT Escapes today, too, and they're the same price or more than that snazzy Terrain.

I believe the base wheels on the Fusion and the Malibu are the same type: steel with permanently attached plastic covers. Chevy also had them on the Cobalt, and Pontiac on the G5 and G6. I have to say the Fusion's base wheel is more interesting looking, however.

Interesting schtuff. In Lancaster County Park, there are concrete formations along the creek, some old industry, not sure what, but it's always cool to try to figure stuff out.

It's cool how modern raptors exhibit much of the raw behaviour of their ancient forebears, at least as we imagine the ancients. And mama birds with their territorial ways... look out! *DIVE BOMB* I think turkey vultures are less predator than they are scavenger, aren't they? I am debating whether to hang a bird feeder under my deck. The snow is taking a looong time to leave, but I don't want to deal with too much bird poop, either.
