  1. OK, OK, you turned me upside down and shook me 'til my pants came off and my wallet fell out. Now can I edit my posts? And I want to get into the Social Issues section, too, while I'm at it. EDIT: Thanks!
  2. darn
  3. No, why?
  4. What is going on with the edit function this afternoon? I try to edit one of my posts, I click on the "edit" button, but instead it goes into "quote" mode, and then there IS NO EDIT BUTTON showing? Is this somehow normal? Doesn't seem normal.

    HELP!

Did you say "fast and dirty"?
  7. There's not a thing wrong with my Cobalt. It has met my short-term needs quite handily. But I'm a pickup man. I can't help it.

    HELP!

I hope the installation is clean as a whistle, Camino.
  9. I am thinking of... sending out some emails to a few local Chevy dealers asking for a price on a truck. I'm thinking the best thing to do is take rebates and any talk of trade-in out of the equation, because by the time the truck is built and delivered, those aspects will likely vary. That will keep the playing field level. So here it is: 2010 Colorado 1LT regular cab 4X4 3.7L I5 automatic G80 locking rear power/convenience package trailering package full-size spare tire Steel Green Metallic. I am debating the interior color. I really would like to have tan, but I am concerned about it showing dirt. Does anyone know if GM is still spraying StainGuard on their seats? If not, I wonder how much it would cost to have it done after I take delivery. I'd also like to pursue a bedliner delete situation (there is an option code for it, but it is among the "fleet only" codes). I never liked slide-in bedliners. I'd prefer a BedRug if I can afford it or even a heavy rubber mat. I am hoping it won't be a hassle. I'd take it out on my own after I take delivery, but it appears the tailgate is drilled for attaching screws for that portion of the liner, and I don't want to deal with that mess. Mild customization plans include shaving the labels off the tailgate and replacing with a GMT900 Silverado tailgate bowtie, a soft, folding tonneau like I had on my Sierra, ventshades, factory accessory small black wheel flares, and all-terrain tires (I cannot abide the car tires that come on these trucks from the factory). Maybe a K&N air intake and a mellow single exhaust system.
  10. Hey Roger, I saw a cool magazine you might be interested in, if you haven't seen it on newsstands already, called "Classic Truck". It looked to be right up your alley!
  11. "Not really into meat, especially with bones." I'm surprised to hear that from our bobo. I like a lot of different ethnic foods. I just had sushi for lunch. There's one thing that bothers me about eating sushi, though. It makes me phlegmy and I start to cough. I wish I knew which component was causing my problem. Eating certain other foods I get the same way, and I wish I could figure out what was doing it. I refuse to eat veal because of how the calves are kept a lot of the time (in cages so small they cannot even turn around).
  12. Our roads are still a bit nasty from all that snow we had, so I was surprised to see an early first-gen S-10 Blazer in absolutely pristine condition, red over silver two-tone, on the road, driven by an older lady. How she was avoiding getting it covered with salt spray, I do not know... unless... could it have been a ghost Blazer?
  13. Take care of yourself, sir.

  17. I was in the grocery store on Tuesday night and the lines were horrible! Then today I went in and there was no line atall! Can you believe it?
  18. I think Michael Jackson's doctor pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, can anyone confirm?
  19. All shoveled out, wanted to check in before I hit the shower and go exploring (no Drew, I did not buy a Ford ). I should try to head down to mom's and see how she's making out. Then I have to go to the Russian grocery store (empty shelves) and pick over a few rotten potatoes.

  21. Got a call from my assistant manager last night... work is called off for a second day. So I'm going out there and reopen my driveway (after a neighbor used his snowblower yesterday, it drifted shut again) when the sun gets up, and get out in the world. Cannot stand being cooped up.

  23. If I could afford one of these, I'd take a hard look at one. GM has nothing quite like it, it's probably the sportiest CUV out there. I'm interested in seeing power and fuel mileage ratings for the 2.0 Ecoboost.
