  3. Gladly. At least until some sort of 4WD is in my driveway.
  4. Owner of our dealership called us closed yesterday afternoon in anticipation of this new giant snowstorm, so guess what I'll be doing for a good part of the day? Building & Pricing a large part of the known automotive universe.

  7. 2 Jeep Wranglers at the Datsun dealership, parked in a back corner with snowplows on the front. I'd seen them there before, they belong to the dealership. I looked at the Datsun pickups while I was there. The Frontier is nice, they had 2 SE-V6 Value Package King Cab 4X4s, one red metallic and one gray. They look good, nice and beefy. I don't like the weird seat upholstery though. I looked at the headliner, it appears to be made of the same material as a GMT355, and the EPA mileage ratings are abysmal, 14/19 for automatic and 15/19 for six speed manual with the V6. That's worse than a Sierra 1500 4X4 with 5.3L V8, at 16/21! The GMT355 seems to have the best mileage ratings of the compact trucks, unless you get the 5.3L, and then it goes down to the level of the other guys' V6s. Atlas 4 and 5 FTW.
  8. Ah yes, winter. Time for comfort food. My grandmother used to make this simple, hearty dish to warm us up after being out in the cold: 40 ounce can butter beans/dried limas, rinsed 1 pound tube mild sausage, formed into bitesize patties 1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup ketchup preheat oven to 400 place sausage bites into skillet with enough water to cover completely, cover pan and bring to boil add onion to pan, cook sausage and onion until water evaporates and sausage starts to brown drain fat and place sausage and onion in baking dish with rinsed beans, add ketchup and brown sugar and mix all ingredients together bake at 400 for about 30 minutes enjoy

  12. reg, I dunno about "super cute". He needs to do something with his hair.
  13. The last ones were the best looking of the FWD Montes, imo. If they had flattened out the decklid hump and put the CHMSL inside the back glass while they were at it, it would have eliminated the need for a spoiler to disguise the problem, and would have let the car go out on a truly high note.

I wonder how that happened... wide stance?

  16. When you're plowing, maneuverability is the name of the game. A 4WS GMT800 would be the bomb if one could be found.
  17. Shoot, I see plows on old K-Blazers a lot around here. They're so maneuverable.
  18. In some ways I like the Escape more than the Equinox. The Escape is not as "cute", for one thing. It seems more rugged, and I like rugged vehicles.
