  1. Nice set of shots, Nos. Thanks for posting these.
  2. kook
  3. vonVee, please tell the LeSabre owner they have a brake light out, m'kay?
  4. I need to clarify my earlier comment. My car DOES feel "loose" when driving over rough city streets, but there is no specific area that the looseness is coming from.
  5. Saves disgruntled owners the need to find a brick for the throttle before aiming these things off a cliff. Toyota thinks of everything.
  6. google
  7. OMG Sigourney Weaver.
  8. As an RL/ES competitor with an interior that blows all other FWD luxury cars into the weeds, I can accept this XTS. As a "flagship", it fails. But if a true "flagship" is yet to be seen, I am left wondering what is the point of this car on Epsilon II.
  9. European cars have more problems than American cars, yet Europeans by and large have resisted the Japanese onslaught. Good on them for helping their domestic industry remain stronger, percentagewise, than shortsighted Americans have.
  10. I've had no issues with my steering since my own column replacement at 5k miles. I have almost 16k miles now and no recurrence. I have no other appreciable rattles in my car, and I am anal about that, I cannot stand rattles. Over huge expansion strips I might get one single "crack" noise in the dash, but it's very isolated.
  11. Disgusting how people can be so shortsighted.
  12. I'm glad you're having fun with it. I saw photos of the production Synergy Special Edition, and I like the green and gray colour combo. It starts at a reasonable price, too. I'd take one with a manual and no options, just fine.
  13. CAFE must be stopped NOW!
  14. rasp
  15. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... every evening this week I've tried to get in to the gym. But the parking lot is full to capacity, with 4 or 5 cars blocking the aisles, following people to their cars so they can grab their spots. It's this way every January since I joined there a few years ago. By next month, I predict all will be normal again, and the couch potatoes will plant themselves once more. Sigh.
  16. I think that is his Golf in the sig. Vipes, didn't you say you picked up some Audi dash in your parts run?
  17. I am just not ready to buy this whole "electrification of the automobile" mumbo jumbo.
  18. I see it too, sNOSage.
  19. Ford seems to be able to give their existing vehicles such a perfect set of updates, they come out feeling like clean-sheet redesigns. This is a great looking vehicle.
  20. Cool, Jacket. I hope it serves you well. Please don't let any half-Asian immigrants drive it.
  21. Did you go out there and offer to call a tow truck for the 3000GT guy? Because his car was obviously broke down for that to happen.
  22. Well I've softened my opinion of it since seeing the real-life show floor photos, but to me, Epsilon is much too narrow for a full-size flagship, and the footwell is ridiculously narrow. The short door to front wheel distance hurts it, usurps its design authority. The wheelbase is too short. When I said about the 9-5, I was talking about the giant rear overhang, for one aspect. Both cars share it. I believe this car is on the wrong platform. It should have been on Zeta. The high, stubby front clip just does not look right.
  23. Does the 3.6L sound good? Did you get an automatic or manual?
  24. Well then, consider this possibility: he could be in love with you.
