  1. When an extended cab 4X4 SLE-1 Canyon is in the $28k range, suddenly a sub-$27k Terrain SLE-1 AWD seems like a bargain. I wonder how they compare when it comes time to insure them.
  2. Parking near a railroad track is likely the source of your problem, that stuff can fly pretty far and high. Your clay bar won't take care of it? Clay bar is what we used to remove it from brand new cars back in the day. Just keep turning the clay so it doesn't scratch as it removes the particles.
  3. Those rims were a hell of a bargain, they do a lot for it. Sounds like you're on your way. It looks beautiful in the dark, all wet.
  4. If I speled that bad, I'd be all polaroid about it, liek eveyone's watching me.
  5. Yeah and since Wawa will be the only store open, you won't be able to zip down there and pick up an odd clip, etc., if it breaks. Have fun, Camino.
  6. cowhide
  7. Did you guys see that article about a study that revealed that DOGS and their associated needs (for example, growing food for them, etc.) cause more pollution than the world's automobiles? I love dogs, they are the most loyal, loving pet a man can have, but this study just highlights how ridiculous the car haters have gotten, and how hypocritical the "climate change OMG" movement really is. woof!
  8. I hope this continues well into the dark night. The media war has finally, hopefully, turned to a new frontline. They did everything they could to destroy our own automotive giants, have they gotten the last blood out of that stone? Many more millions will read this than the buff magazines when they praise an American vehicle. Death to you, Toyota. May you fall in a giant mushroom cloud of your own lies and perpetrations. FALL, like a Tacoma pickup frame, into iron oxide dust to the lungs of your executives until they choke to tears and crawl off the stage!
  9. Rice-A-Roni, the San Francisco treat!
  10. Nothing gets my Irish up like a foreign language thread. WTH are you guys talking abote?

  12. Somebody needs to call Reno 9-1-1 on that landscaping.
  13. Dude, you passed me long ago.
  14. Yellow '89 Chrysler TC by Maserati. In our shop, reason being, it rolled off the back of a towtruck onto the pavement somewhere. I think it's a goner, tomorrow will confirm when I send my estimate in to the insurance company and they make a decision. Dude's not happy with the tow company as it is, wait until he hears this.
  15. Thanks Robert. One thing different this year, Xmas Eve at mom's instead of Xmas morning. We're supposed to get freezing rain here on Xmas morning, hence her changeup invite. Xmas Day will be spent at various relatives' homes. Happy Holidays, everyone!
  16. Well Happy Birthday, sir!
  17. I would be so mad. I am sure there are so many emotions going through you after this, especially after your history so far with this car. I hope everything turns out perfect with the repair.
  18. Your sister is Meredith Baxter? Cool!
  19. You win so far, Clete. Cool house, best of luck to you. We three office folk got fruit baskets made by our manager's wife yesterday.
