  1. Excellent review, Drew. These are great vehicles, I drove a 1LT AWD 4 cylinder and was very pleased.
  2. Subaru Justy 4WD puttin' along on the snowy roads. Haven't seen one of those in forever.
  3. Shrinkage is a bitch.
  4. "He was a damn fine plumber as well." I'm sure he was. Personally, I melt for a man in Carhartt, and they were out in droves yesterday.
  5. *scanning for hidden meanings* Well, he only cleared the sidewalk with his snowblower (he's still mad about my hillclimb and subsequent "Chevy Power!" comment). I shoveled the driveway out and to the street, in front of the mailbox, and the front steps. The darn plow had me plowed in about 2 feet deep and hard and crusty out at the street, it took a while to get that broken up. It was a good day. It got me off my butt. And I went and looked at that Navy Blue 2010 Canyon over in New Holland. Quick math in my head says it will be more than I want to spend with my trade and downpayment, but we'll see, I requested a quote via email.

  7. Frogger, that was all shovel. It took me a good two hours. The clean line you see going behind the mailbox at the sidewalk was my neighbor (two houses up) last night with his snowblower, he did the sidewalk and we got 3 more inches afterward. All those piles and that jagged line at the driveway are shoveled.
  8. Joyfully, the snow was DEEP, but light. It took me about an hour and a half to clear the driveway, mailbox and front steps with my shovel. Does Camino have a pic to share?
  9. It wore my little ass out messing around with all this. Those longterm weather forecasters appear to have been correct this year.

  12. The new Taurus does it well (a retake on executive style). It's a shame Mercury didn't get a version, I'll bet it would have rocked.

  15. Well? Can anyone explain?

  17. Excellent. And the guy in the Camry was raging, not Jess, imo. Jess was merely pulling a Buford Pusser on Camry guy.
  18. If traveling is decent, you can bet I will be over there tomorrow to look at that Canyon. Good luck out there, Camino!
  19. Do you still have a spare key?
  20. There's a Navy Blue 2010 Canyon extended cab 4X4 SLE-1 at a dealership 15 miles away, according to Edmunds. It may as well be on Mars.

    Problem

There's nothing wrong with a Bick, they made some sweet cars in their day. And that new Riggle is shaping up nice.
  22. Do it have G80 on the option label?

    Chevy Power!

I was out running around earlier, finishing up my Xmas shopping (I think, hmmm...). When I turned into my development, I realized it had not been plowed. We've got 7-8 inches of snow so far, and one of the streets is uphill to get back to my house. Starting out in second gear definitely helped me out on the road, but that stuff is DEEP for a Cobalt. The little guy spun and spun, I was in third gear, speedo reading 40 at 2500 RPM, prolly moving 1 mph, but made it up the hill and into my garage. My neighbors were standing out in their driveway, arms outstretched. "How the hell did you make it up that hill? We had to park at the bottom, we couldn't make it!" I just said "Chevy Power!" I think he's mad, because he just turned without a word and walked back into his garage. Meanwhile, his Fusion is parked a block and a half away, at the bottom of that hill, and the little green Cobalt is nestled all warm in his garage.
