  3. I was at a BG dealership about 20 miles away looking for Canyons (they had two), and there was a couple of folks there in their Avalon, looking at LaCrosses.

  5. German cars have a unique, very solid feeling of alacrity over the road.
  6. The new Balloon Boy? Something stinks.
  7. Makes me want to join a Beard Club. Very nice, Jacket.
  8. Very nice photos of your Dodge, DF. I like your interior the way it is.
  9. As always, nice job on the pictures, very calendar-worthy for a GM website. It actually doesn't look bad with the steel wheels cleaned up, all it needs is chrome lugs to make it look "finished"... ooo, and white-letter tires, that would make a unique combo on a Cobalt. I have my '09-style wheel covers you can have if you want them, they're collecting dust behind one of our paint booths at work, along with my steelies.
  10. Time will tell if the LaCrosse and Delta Buick (which seems to share more Buick styling DNA with LaCrosse) ring truer with customers than this Regal, which, aside from a grille and an iconic name, isn't recognizable as a tri-shield vehicle. This is definitely a complete break with Buick's past, yet it has, once again, one of the most recognizable names on the market, even with the hiatus. Will that juxtaposition of cultures work out there in the market?

  12. A beauty... I can't believe they painted over the door latches though...
  13. 14. Regarding the 307, muffle the noise you've heard and judge for yourself once it's in. As a DD, I think you'll be fine. Remember, reliability is paramount. Good luck and I think you're on the right track.
  15. Funny you say that, I saw a '74 Valiant two-door in black primer, lowered, with very healthy noise next to me in stop-n-go city traffic last evening. Cool dude with shaved head/goatee driving.
  16. Excellent point, Dean Martin.

  20. 2010 Canyon extended cab 2WD, metallic red/tan SLT at the local BG store. I walked over to look at the window sticker, when suddenly, an old lady sitting in a Volvo XC90 next to it (I didn't even notice it, ha) leans out of her door and says "that one's sold. It's mine. It's got leather." She startled me a li'l bit.
  21. What an absolute moron.
  22. Needs Ventiports on the hood, like the new LaCrosse and Delta Buick. I cannot get the slideshow to work at the link, all I can see is photo #1.
  23. TWO MONTHS to swap out a motor? It can be done in part of a DAY, for lord's sake.
  24. Glad no one was hurt, too bad they weren't Tundras getting crushed.
