  1. It's almost like a return to pre-'59 at Ford and GM, and pre-'57 at Chrysler, before the longer-lower-wider credo took hold.
  2. I think it's cool that all the rims on the Equinox and Terrain look good, not just the high-end models.
  3. slinky
  4. Clarification of my earlier post: of course, taking care of the environment is the right thing to do, but I am not going to let it rule my life. BTW, I drive a Chevrolet Cobalt, not an old Jeep Grand Cherokee or S-Class Mercedes, which each, I am certain, pumps way more pollutants into the air than my new little Chevy. And I have my reusable grocery bags and CF light bulbs. I tried a reel-type lawn mower, but it wouldn't cut my grass, so yes, I have a Briggs&Stratton powered lawn mower. Sue me. How much air and water pollution comes from a forest fire sparked by lightning? How about a volcanic eruption? All I am saying, and I agree with Bob Lutz, is that we are still a very small influence on our planet. We did not cause Global Warming, or Climate Change or whatever the hell you want to call it. Nor can we control it, even if all industry stopped today. This old Earth's gonna do what she wants to do. Also, question: How come my slang word for poop was censored, but in the very next post in this thread, Floyd Hendershot's was NOT??? Seems rather selective...
  5. So much white noise in this thread, posted by smk4565. Anyone who thinks a hot Buick won't sell or won't have appeal has no clue about the brand's potential. Gran Sport, GSX, Grand National, GNX, T-Type, S-Type... all are part of the brand's DNA and were popular, even legendary. IMO, keeping the brand static will do more to kill it than diversifying it with some sporty offerings mixed in. I'm going to beat the coupe drum everywhere I can in a Regal thread, as that would be an excellent companion to the sedan. I am hopeful the silver Facebook sedan is what we get, to start, as it is the cleanest version yet. The fender vents don't fit unless they're styled like ventiports.
  6. Have a fine one!
  7. Jeep Patriot
  8. Puppy? More like a Rottweiler. :AH-HA_wink: Some mild criticism: needs more Chevy. At least it needs 3 red taillamps per side.
  9. Global Warming = Crock of $h!, just like a wise man said. At least as far as the human factor goes. It's nothing we've done, and there's nothing we can do, but adapt.

  13. Local dealer has an SLT with the chrome rims. MSRP: $37k, in case you missed my post about it a while back. I dint take a pic of that one.

  15. Yes, the RWD A/G body cars all offered manual transmissions '78- circa '80.
