    Omelets

A Great Aunt who owned a restaurant with her husband for years told us to use ice cold water mixed with your egg to make a tasty omelette. I put my fillings in the egg right away so they cook into the omelette and I cover it so the top cooks quicker. When the top looks cooked, I just fold it and slide it onto the plate. I like salsa and cheddar, baby spinach/mushrooms/parmesan or just cheddar and cayenne pepper in mine. There are so many delicious possibilities with omelettes, though.
  2. I can see how red tatas could be a problem.
  3. Nice yellow H3 and a black Solstice, parked at a campsite with a brand new trailer. Fellow GM fans... and then it hit me, both vehicles are still hot, even as their respective divisions grow cold in death. Damn you, GM, for dropping the ball you held for so many decades.

  5. I don't remember the photo GMTG74 posted of a red G6 coupe. I do however remember posting a photo I took of one at the dealership in Elkton, MD where PCS bought his Solstice Targa.
  6. It's mostly in The Face. Angry headlights, scowling grillework... The Face is what makes ppl get over in the slow lane when approached from behind by and angry-faced car. Strong wheel arches, big wheels and a wide track v. body width and maybe a wedge profile also convey automotive aggressiveness. The current Aveo has an angry face, but it is made ineffective because the rest of the car is pure wimp. I am not really a fan of anger on the face of non-sports cars. The '59 Buick is an exception, because back then, it was basically a one-car division, and that one car had to convey many different personalities through a plethora of bodystyles and trim levels.

  10. Yup, we as Americans will pay for the "convenience" of all that packaging... individual servings packaged inside a bigger box. I'm guilty of buying stuff that way, too, sometimes... until I compare prices for the same stuff in a large, singe container. I started buying the big 32 oz. cups of yogurt. I just spoon out what I want and add a bit of preserves to flavor it.

  13. Dodge Fan is still pulling at straws with his hatred for the Pontiac G6. I suspect it is because EVERY SINGLE Chrysler product currently on the market is completely undesirable, except for maybe the 300, Charger, Ram and Wrangler, and he needs to release some frustration.
  14. Nice pics, fellas!

  22. Cream of Sumyunguy urban legend, I guess, as I've yet to see it on the menu at China House take-out restaurant
  23. Disagreed. Penske, with all his money, does not have the wherewithal to start with such basic building blocks. He needs something fully engineered. The Korean Renaults fit in that scenario, if they meet US crash and emissions standards. Penske is a marketer, not a car manufacturer.
