  1. But...but... I thought you loved to drive ass. Or is it the other way around?

  4. Yellow Labs: big ol' corn muffins of love.
  5. NO PLATES? Likely stolen, hidden in carry-on baggage on a flight from Rome.
  6. affirmative, good buddy breaker one-nine!
  7. I have one cat. My cat is gray. My cat is female. My cat's name is Mama Girl. She eats cat food.
  8. '75-'77 Nova sedan, painted in late-model Laser Blue, in fine shape. '97-'03 GP GT sedan in black primer, lowered with rims, chrome door handles and center pillar trim, and a huge aluminum wing.

  10. I hope someone finds you very Intriguing today. :AH-HA_wink: Have a good one, sir!
  11. I've been watching some Jerry Springer clips on YouTube lately.
  12. That little Lime Green Nova is a sweetheart, I always liked that style of Nova (the last RWD X-body Novas had a more generic front end that was less "friendly Chevy" looking than the one pictured). You can see it's been painted, there is overspray on the door jamb tags.
  13. Sounds good, redtruck. There is a LOT of disassembly and reassembly that goes into a frame job, but it's all just nuts and bolts. Your truck should be fine, and now you have a comfortable car to ride in until yours is finished. Let us know how it progresses.
  14. CSpec, yes, while the car is still yours you can take things off of it, but you should let the paying insurance company know what you are taking, as they need to come up with a fair price to pay you for your car. OEM alloys are worth more than steel rims, I can tell you that. Aftermarket alloys are worthless because there will be no call used for whatever obscure wheel is on there. Aftermarket sound systems are not worth anything to a salvage yard, again, people will be looking for SAAB parts, not aftermarket. OEM sound systems are worth more. You get the idea. If you have an aftermarket sound system you'd like to retreive, it is yours, just put the OEM radio inside the car somewhere. Dodgefan, sometimes with a thorough teardown, a damage estimate CAN double, if the estimator does a drive-by estimate first off. I am glad you got what you wanted in the end. How's that $600 repair holding up on your Prizm? CSpec, let us know how you make out.

  16. Anything you take off will affect the value of the car, and subsequently your settlement check. Plus, the adjuster probably already assigned a value to the car and took photos... anything different or missing after that could get you in trouble with the insurance company. Call the paying insurance company and let them know what you will be taking off so they know and can adjust your settlement accordingly. Dodgefan is just being insane. Who in the world has any inclination to put a totalled car up on blocks in their driveway and sell parts off of it? Especially if they are a claimant and the insurance company is ready to settle so you can get into another car quickly?

  18. I like the Avenger. I think the Sebring's main problem is those giant headlights. Smaller headlights, more like the Airflite's, would have made the car much better looking, imo.
  19. I'm starting to fear our very own balthy rolls up his jean shorts all the way. I really, really hope my fears are unfounded.
  20. Man oh man, did I ever get a charge out of that one.
  21. What? No teacup chihuahua?
  22. So you were riding through the woods in your short shorts, suspenders, and cowboy boots, with your mullet flapping resplendently in the breeze behind you... until it got caught on a branch and pulled you off your bike. Damn, that bites. Feel better soon because I want to see you dance some more.
  23. Cool, I'll probably try it this evening.
