  1. "I think I'll be needing a change once I get through this batch of projects." Come on, man, you're too young to be wearing adult diapers.
  2. WUT! NO WAY! What a seriously bad-ass Mopar!
  3. AUTHENTICITY is such a much-desired (by me and a few others, at least) yet elusive quality in an automobile these days. This SAAB has it.
  4. So now I'm thinking of this: 2010 Z85 regular cab 4X4 1LT/SLE1 power and convenience pkg 3.7L I-5/auto 3.73 G80 locker sliding window trailering pkg Steel Green or Dark Navy tan bench if green, ebony bench if Navy Modifications: Flowmaster with 3" single exhaust. K&N filter element. Chrome handles and body-color mirror caps (which are not offered on the reg cab from the factory), body-color small-style factory wheel flares and LT245/75R16 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, turned black side out (they are 30.5 inches tall, not too tall to rub, but able to fill out the wheel wells and still be safely mounted on the factory aluminum wheels). They are the coolest truck tires ever, I had them on my '94 S-10 and my '98 ZR2 S-10. The factory tires on the Z85 are sooo wimpy! Camino knows as far as vehicles, I can never leave well enough alone, I have to make it MINE.
  5. I actually saw an Earth Mother driving an old, 240-style silver sport model Volvo 2-door the other day in the local hippie food store parking lot. I was looking for quinoa cereal, but, to my everlasting chagrin, they dint have it.
  6. One more bit of pain: BRG MGB I posted about for sale a few days ago... replaced by an Eagle Vision. Talk about a let-down.

    What if

Well I appreciate that, sparky. Sounds fun!

  9. Green, late-model Regal with huge, park bench wing. Also a '76 Regal coupe, factory orange metallic with white landau top and interior, looking perfect, parked along the street.

    What if

I'm just keeping as low a profile as I know how, going to work every day, trying to do my job to the best of my abilities. Camino, you are an absolute pillar of this community. Thanks for being here, kind sir.
  11. New traffic rule: "Pass the Dutchie on the left hand side."
  12. You missed an opportunity there, skeeter. You should have said "Perfectly calm here, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..."
  13. I think it looks great, inside and out. I love it in profile. It is sort of uniquely proportioned, but it does have some classic SAAB cues (upright windshield, curved, continuous line from backlite to taillamps), mixed with some sort of other, retro-ish proportioning. This car in pure black with tan leather will melt some SAABophile hearts, for sure.

    What if

Yeah, it is hard to deal with quite often. I didn't realize how alone I was until I put my cat in the house, she helps, but she's not all that I'm missing. A person I care deeply about is in TN/NC this week, riding his motorcycle on The Tail of the Dragon, a dangerous, extremely curvy stretch of road between the 2 states. He went with a group, with the bikes on trailers. He said he doesn't like curves and that he doesn't do well in large groups, so I'm sure he went just to try to fit in. He said he'd like to go to Graceland while he's down there, but he doubts he'll go... the others won't want to. I miss him.

  17. OMG, she came out and told you that? It was supposed to be our secret.
  18. The civilised world can only be SAVED by cracking down on these criminals who are bent on causing untold mayhem to our families. They have NO fear of civilised people!

  20. Is that a giant chunk of ice?
  21. Nice. I'd happily drive it.

  23. Model is an uber, uber geek.
  24. An outstanding beauty.
  25. I just cannot believe you continue to feign such obtuseness on this. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth is an ancient rule of justice. We're not suggesting anything radical here. Mama Mia.
