  1. I like the first one. It conveys to potential customers the full name of the enterprise. Once Mill City Studios is firmly established, it can be shortened to initials, kinda like Kentucky Fried Chicken/KFC.
  2. Whoa, decent old boat. It appears to be a '76 ('75 Caprice front end with round headlights and Impala-specific grille, '76 Caprice had rectangular headlights). And it appears to be a '73 beside it. Sunday, I parked next to a sweet red HHR 2LT panel with gold pinstripes and the polished rims. Saw a black Genesis sedan parked in front of Barnes & Noble.
  3. I work at a Linc-Merc dealership, and I can't tell you everything that comprises the Sport package on these cars. I do believe a partial body-color grille, bumper moldings, and a different front bumper and foglights are part of it, though. Good luck to you, I hope it works out.

Looks good, balthy. I need to clean and organize my garage, too.
  8. One reason the Volt is far superior to Prius and Insight is it will be manufactured here. If a person is truly interested in being "green", that is, and not just a bandwagoner hypocrite. Didn't you guys read the amazing findings in a study of pollution spewed by container ships? Hilarious for all the misguided fools who think they're doing something for the earth by buying a Japanese hybrid. If GM is to succeed going forward, any person with much of a thought process knows they have to cater to a wide cross section of buyers. The Camaro is a beautiful car in every sense of the word, and the Volt is a technogeek's dream in an attractive wrapper. I agree with Bob Lutz on just about every point he makes, and GM will be even poorer once he is gone from there.

  11. It would be so fun to be there with a camera so I could say "pardon moi, mademoiselle, could you please step away from the car so I can get a photo of it?"

Oh man, she let herself go, bigtime.
  13. China still scares me, though. They pretty much own the USA right now, and do we have assurances these advances won't be reversed at the drop of a hat?
  14. Sorry about my foul language this morning. To turn a media catchphrase against them: Leave GM alone! They are building a car that people want! What other GM plant in recent memory has been ADDING shifts to keep up with demand? This "journalist" is a sorry sack of s*it, imho.

  19. BULL. $h!. Prius and Insight are far behind the Volt, yet the Volt is criticized by this dip$h! for having a supplemental ICE? And the Asian makers WISH they had the tiniest bit of proud heritage GM has, as with the Camaro. They have NOTHING.

  22. Yup so, after they closed I went back out there and checked out that 2LT/RS Camaro again today. Interesting on the website, when you choose RS, the wheels darken up pretty seriously in the representation, so I've been optioning into the polished 20's. Totally not necessary, as the "midnight silver" finish on the standard RS rims is not dark, but juuuuust right, just like everything else about the car. EDIT: "my" Camaro - $28,825. Aqua Blue/black leather 2LT/RS manual. That's a lot of money dammit. 2nd EDIT: "my" Mustang - $26,325. White/saddle leather V6 Premium Pony manual with hockey stick stripe package. Less money, less car, but still nice.
