  1. Well I hope you see this... Happy Birthday, sir.
  2. You want it, you got it, Toyota (uh, nevermind): this '72 Luxury LeMans is my step mom's: and, finally, a little play on numbers on the way down:
  3. Um OK yup:
  4. OK, one mo' time:

  7. Well duh, yeah, the statement about the steering column was bull$h!. I've been in the car business since 1993, I know a little something.
  8. Mandate, Freshmen sorry salacious

  10. If Hyundai Accent buyers have it, why can't CTS-V buyers? That's the problem with GM.
  11. Viper, while I was able to get my steering column replaced under warranty, the service manager said to me "GM will only let us replace the column once", which meant to me it was a common problem and a new column might develop the same loose rattle at the electric motor/gear interface at some point in the future. So far, my car remains tight and quiet after the repair. I don't believe it is a safety concern, just a noise concern. It is my belief that a new car should not have rattles and noises, so I pursued the column replacement, glad I did at this point. For a customer-pay job, however, I am sure it would be horrifically expensive, as it comes as an entire assembly, with all the switches, shrouding, etc. on the assembly. I had the column replaced in my other Delta car, too, my '03 ION, but for a different reason, the tilt mechanism loosened to the point I could move the column up and down easily by hand with it in the locked position... after 7k miles. I am about to turn over 7k miles on this Cobalt, and it has been a much better car than that Saturn so far, knock on wood. Anyone else with cool, obscure features you discovered by accident?
  12. Whoa, slick!
  13. allergic
  14. TICK TOCK? That bomb already went off, I'm afraid.
  15. I much prefer a straight white like Summit, as opposed to pearl whites, which look dirty to me, or like sperm. Thanks for posting, and thanks for the link, GMTG74... I like the Magna and the Atlantic Blue. There are too many grays though, imo. There should be a green, like Silver Green (my Cobalt color), it looks good on the Lambdas.
  16. A DILF is definitely a Dad. drag
  17. Um yeah.
  18. Congratulations on the Impy, gm4life!
  19. I agree in thinking those are clearcoated and that stuff will prolly ruin them.
  20. *snicker*
  21. z is trying to help you improve your ownership experience, Vipes. Listen to him.
  22. The option label is on the bottom of the glovebox. It will tell you if it was a factory two-tone job. You should see two color codes at the bottom right of the label, one with "U" for upper and one with "L" for lower color. The grille and mirrors stand out as non-correct, the wheels are a bit more obscurely incorrect. Good luck if you decide to buy it, you've been looking for one forever.
  23. Australians might disagree with you about the Cruze. Let's hope so, for Holden's sake.
  24. I've been having a lot of "ISP driver error" messages since I've been back from my trip, what's the problem?
