    Eve Found

I wouldn't mind tapping that tail, but I'm afraid it would fall off.
  2. Um did it mess up your little wing lights? Break off a cool little white wheel?
  3. Let me ask you something, Viper. How has your Cobalt been unreliable? Does it start, run and get you to your jobs every time? If so, then it is reliable. Noises in a car do not make it unreliable. Every car made is a machine with quirks, a man-made object. You either learn to live with those quirks (and if you think a Genesis would not have them, you'd be wrong, just live with it for a while), or move on, but until something happens with your little Chevy that is of real concern, stop harping about it, will you? I like my little trunk opener button hidden in the storage compartment on the left side of my dash, and I am always using my DIC, ahem.

    I'm on a boat

Satty if you weren't such a cheap ass you could have seen the vid posted down in the Rated-R section of Cheers & Gears.com weeks ago.
  5. Bob, your fantasy life, did we really need to know it? And I'm nobody's "bitch". :AH-HA_wink: Thanks, 66 and davey. And Z-06, I am not that ancient that I might not be around in 10 years, despite the propaganda put forth by The Hairy One.
  6. I appreciate it, mr. cruiser. Yup, I took a bunch of pictures, all of Pontiacs, but I wasn't sure I wanted to post them and open myself to those who are hostile toward PMD here. Maybe I'll relent soon. I can tell you there are two pictures I missed: the '71 Catalina hardtop coupe with vinyl top, in black primer with 20" blingy chrome rims (not jacked up high, just high enough to clear those outrageous wheels), and the '60 2-door hdtp, again in black primer, but with more subdued rolling stock.
  7. Well Bobbi, he posted an avatar of his hairy legs. I surmise the hair goes all the way up.
  8. 70% Austin 60% Honolulu 55% Atlanta 55% Denver 55% Miami Yeah... no. Out of them all, I like Denver, but there's no ocean, so forget it.
  9. JLG, how's that Sierra running? And your dad's... Accent, I believe?
  10. PCS is just being his rude, normal, hairy ass self. I don't pay him no mind.
  11. I checked... Ford does not give you any money back for deleting the sporler.
  12. I'm a VW fan and even I know first hand they're hit or miss. Reality bites.
  13. Thanks, skeeter! Same to you.
  14. Z-06, call me... and Bernie who? Croc, have you ever read the short story, called "The Lottery"? Very odd.
  15. Speed Compensated Volume is not supposed to work that way, at least on my GMs with the feature, the volume went up AND down with speed, and it can be set for sensitivity, or turned off completely.

    Bartenders

I've noticed this for years, but thought I'd pass it along for anyone who might be interested. If you are straight, young and cute, you can make a killing as a bartender working in a gay bar. I got to talking to a 25-year old guy (I mentioned I am a car nut, and he is too) who went to college, graduated with a degree in finance, yet enjoys far higher pay and better hours slinging drinks than he could in the finance racket. In fact, the whole bartending staff at this particular establishment (the Blue Moon in Rehoboth, DE) is straight. I'd say they're being very smart to use their good looks working a fun job, making lots of money toward a secure future. Thanks for the ginger ale and grenadine, bud. I'll be back to see ya sometime this summer.

  19. Well after staying in Rehoboth, DE for 4 days, I now want a place of my own down there. And after seeing so many awesome cars in Ocean City, I now want an old car of my own. Neither of which is bound to happen any time soon, being that I'm single and don't have a partner's income to supplement my own to buy extra luxuries like that. Why does life have to be so cruel?
  20. Two hot new CTS-Vs... two hot new '10 Mustangs, and one hot yellow '10 Camaro, cruising down the strip in Ocean City, MD. It was like car heaven.
  21. Coming home from the beach today, it was raining a bit. I had the intermittent wipers on. As it started to rain harder, I turned them up faster, notch by notch, until I got to the fastest intermittent speed. At the same time, I was getting out of town and speeding up on the highway. Then I thought I had a problem, until I figgered it out. As I reached 55 mph, my wipers started working continuously. If I let the car go slower than 55, they reverted back to intermittent. Cool! And an intuitively useful feature. Have you ever discovered, by accident, any cool features on your car?
  22. Is that why you broke up with her, Bobbi?
  23. A 2010 Mustang GT can be had for as little as $27,995. If you check the box for rear spoiler delete, it can be had for even less. How can you go wrong?
