An old school Mini appeared on our lot today. Purple with tan leather seats, minilite wheels and 4 driving lights across the tiny chrome bumper. It was there from the restoration shop across the street for a suspension alignment. Our alignment tech brought it into our shop to show it off, but said he couldn't find reverse. So I jumped in, stuck it in reverse and backed it out, drove it around the building, then onto the alignment rack for him. It was a lot of fun just the short time I was able to pilot such a truly bitesize piece of automotive candy, grape at that!

I ate such a small lunch yesterday (starved) that I stopped by McDonald's and ate a double quarter pounder meal, medium with a diet coke. I had every intention of then heading over to the gym... but there were no parking spaces, so I came home and plopped my butt in front of the computer.

I interpret this commercial thusly: they show old Ford and GM vans as a jab for them abandoning the minivan market, "Ford and GM vans are obsolete, buy our Odyssey!" Plus, by grouping their van in with the domestic vans, they are trying to insinuate themselves into being seen as a domestic manufacturer, which *HELLO KITTY* they are not. I am more tolerant of Honda when they put on their humble face, "Keep it Simple", and all that. When they get arrogant and overstep by directly targeting the domestic manufacturers, that's when I lose interest in their cause.

I like that Ram Air hood, too. I was going to get a G5 GT in white, shave the sporler, put that hood on it and do a blue retro stripe like a '70 Trans Am. Then I decided it was too much work.

Well you can go out in the yard, sit in it, turn the steering wheel back & forth and make car noises.
