  1. Agreed..I think the 2nd gen Intrepid interior was nicer than the Charger interior...and that the 2nd gen Intrepid exterior was nicer than the Charger also..I've always liked the 2nd gen LHs, even being FWD and all...the Intrepid, 300M, LHS and Concorde were my favorite rental cars for about 5 years...
  2. Because British Vauxhall customers are more likely to pay extra for such goodies than an American Pontiac customers?
  3. That's just speculation at this point, right? Without a press release from GM, I wouldn't believe it..
  4. Why would you think the STS is going away? Cadillac needs a larger sedan than the CTS....and the DTS isn't it..
  5. Got more snow this morning..about the 10th storm since Dec 21st. But it was just a few inches here in the city--40ish and sunny this afternoon----out east on the plains towards Nebraska and Kansas got slammed, I hear...
  6. Another party that I heard may be interested in Chrysler is the auto supplier Magna.
  7. I like it...crisp, clean, modern inside and out..nice to see some side sculpturing on an Audi.
  8. It was filmed in Australia...
  9. NASCAR today is to motorsport what the WWE is to wrestling... all fake nonsense...
  10. What does a 'wiring defect' have to do with side impact crashes?
  11. This doesn't make much sense..Dodge has the Ram platform..how much effort is it to tool up a 4dr SUV body for it???
  12. I just don't see what the advantage for GM would be.. I want to see Chrysler survive and thrive, I want to see Ford survive and thrive, and I want to GM survive and thrive..but as 3 independent entities...
  13. Some good ones on there... some of the best I've personally seen include GEEKSTA, UNIX4VR, GREP, PAID4, PHD4ME... I have a coworker that has 'HWYADWN' , another that has 'HTTP404', a friend has NSX4ME. I want to get NCUBED.
  14. And Chrysler has RWD/AWD full size models now, GM's are still a couple years off.. and Dodge has the Dakota, GM has nothing comparable.. The brands could be: Chevy, DodgePontiacGMC, ChryslerBuick, Saturn, Saab, JeepHummer, Cadillac... It seems like it would be a very odd merger..way too much overlap.
  15. Sounds like he's a Republican...they seem to be the biggest group of hypocritical homophobes around..
  16. It's an old dated platform that wasn't engineered for today's crash tests...not surprising it did so poorly..
  17. Darn..I'd like to have done that.. haven't been to Vegas since Nov 05..was thinking about going for a weekend sometime in the spring.
  18. Interesting...Dodge's answer to Solstice/Sky/Opel GT? Too much TT in the rear, but overall, kind of interesting..
  19. Ugh...no thanks...those nightmares of Pontiac past (and many others) are best forgotten...
  20. Cool...maybe you can paint it blue and red as an Earl replica..
  21. I've paid twice about $1000-1100 to ship cars from Colorado to eastern Ohio and vice versa, so it's probably similar..
  22. The rear ones appear to be right in front of the door releases...the front ones, maybe on the console?
  23. Here's a pic of myself from a couple years ago with some neat little red cars:
  24. Yes, unsafe at any speed... I'm surprised GM got away with building such subpar junk...I'm surprised Nader didn't jump all over this..
  25. Like, never? Pontiac's never had anything like this.. the '04-06 GTO was the closest... with few exceptions, Pontiac has had badly styled, forgettable, disposable FWD models for the past 25 years... the Solstice and this car represent a new, meaningful direction for the brand.
