Looks like they are still are doing a small touchscreen...

From what I’ve read, it’s on the Acadia/Blazer wheelbase. I guess they are saving the longer Enclave/Traverse wheelbase to do an XT7 later.

The Predator face also reminds me of Bane.
-
The screens look like a pair of phablets glued to the dash. Cheesy and weak.
-
The shade of blue of the interior trim reminds me of old Netgear routers..

PRNDM...'M'?

It's a clean, subtle design that has aged very well...they do a few updates every 3 years (lighting, grille, etc). I like the mix of curves and creases.

I am surprised they kept the MKC name...seems out of date now that they are moving away from TLAs.

Thank you Drew for pointing this out.
As with most automakers, Ford and Lincoln have a ladder of size categories of CUVs/SUVs.
Ford Lincoln
subcompact: Ecosport -
compact: Escape MKC
small midsize: Edge MKX/Nautilus
lg midsize: Explorer -
fullsize CUV: Flex MKT
fullsize SUV: Expedition Navigator
I assume the Flex and MKT are not long for this world, and Lincoln will get an Explorer-based CUV to replace the MKT.

I can see it now...Flagstaff Nissan in Flagstaff AZ can advertise it with the slogan 'Get Your Kicks on Route 66'. (The dealership is off Historic Route 66).
-
The LaCrosse Avenir looks good..esp. like the brown interior. Not sure about the wheels, though..a bit bland looking.
-
The front has Mazda vibes, the greenhouse Audi-ish (A7) and the tail looks very BMWish (the taillights, and vertical part of the deck)...but the styling works overall, IMO...
-
Given the popularity of CUVs, I also think a CUV rear will be coming to more cars...more cars shaped like the Malibu Maxx (without the horrific blandness, hopefully) or the Opel Signum....the return of the non-fastback 5dr hatchback or a small sloped/vertical trunklid...

Still the Coupe on a sedan body style that I believe is a DEAD Design trend. I think in the next 18-24 months we will see a move away from the Coupe Design for 4 door sedans.
Where do you think it's going to go? It's mostly for aerodynamics, I think..
-
It's got some of the new Civic styling cues like the taillights combined with the 6-light fastback greenhouse that has become pretty common in recent years (Fusion, Malibu, Sonata, etc).

Driver's seat is positioned for someone 5' tall and thin, looks like...

My Jeep has an old school fender antenna, I always remove it before going through the carwash (unscrews at the base, hand tighten/loosen)..they should have done that..if Ford's antenna doesn't remove easily, that's absurd...an expensive truck shouldn't have an old time antenna, that's just stupidity and cheapassery...
-
Whatever happened to power antennas? Fixed mast antennas are so old school...
-
It has kind of a customized look to it...it doesn't look vanilla like the Corolla or other Toyota mainstream models...strange and distinctive..
