68 Did you say you have a 350
For what it's worht I'd never demolition derby a savable Caprice... there's tons of cheap Crown Vics out there... and they're still making more of those.

68 Did you say you have a 350
Wow, wish it was closer than Ill. The price is damn good. Nice find. :) BTW: Once I sell the Camaro I'll have a 350 just waiting to be dropped into a car. Ideally once I have my '59 Buick I'll find an old rotted out LaSalle or Reo or Stanley Steamer to make into a rat-rod. :P

1932 Cadillac V16 roadster
Holy crap, another awsome thread that I missed...  I'd love to buy that and drive it as my daily car in the summertime! This would make the Great Gatsby envious.

Weird/stupid/bad gifts you've given
She meant well, poor girl but my ex back in college got me one of those cheesy do-it-yourself steeringwheel wrap-em job covers... you know super cheesy circa 1982. I hurt her feelings by never putting it on the old Pontiac.

How not to park a shiny new Z06
well I'm on the fence as to weather the Corvette or the pickup (Sierra?) were the culprit. Did the Vette plow underneath the GMC? Did the GMC crah inot/over the Vette? Either way it's a damn shame. :(

Oddball File
The front was even cooler on those oddities. Kind of like a Tatra Minivan.

Blower motor resistor
God luck... the fan has not worked on the Coupe DeVille for almost a month... getting to be a real annoyance! :(

NOS: I'll take that McLaren instead. I'll just drive it for a fea years, depreciate it about $-10,000 while putting on 30,000 miles and then sell it to buy my carefully planned out collection of 50s and 60s cars... and ONE brand new Camaro. If you get me the McLaren I'll buy you an LS7 for your Camaro. :D

Chrysler Imperial
Right on Ocnblu! Yesterday me and Marcia were discussing possible purchases in terms of trading in the STS.... the milage is getting HIGH now and the repairs just keep coming. Other than the three SUVs Marcia likes: (FX45, SRX, Trailblazer) there's only one other new car on the market that really grabbs her attention: Charger. Black, esp. the SRT8. She likes the 300C as well but says it is not as bad-ass and muscle car like. Not taht we can afford any of these we were just dreaming. Saddly she does not like the stacked headlights on the Curent STS. Go figure.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Funny as all hell but pretty old. I forget where I saw this but I want to say either BigBoys.com or Ebaumsworld.com Notice the photo is like 3 years old. The poster has Jalapenio Poppers and Mozzarella Sticks... those have been discontinued since like 2001 or so. At least here in Mass. I used to love those damn Jalapenio Poppers. :(

Sciguy: That old Zephyr hot rod custom is awsome, the new Zephyr makes me want to puke. Sorry, I think it looks gross. :puke: Almost like a sweaty hairy guy fomr an 80s Porno with those HUGE, chessy out of porportion "blue-blocker" glasses.

How fat is your state?
Yey! Massachusetts, along wiht Colorado, RI & VErmont are the four least chubby. Wahtever... I'm pretty skinny, used to be thin as a board but I've always found girls wiht some meat on their bones to be the sexiest. Nine times out of a hunderd I'm more turned off by bony supermodels than turned on. Maybe I should move to Miss. or Alabama. :P

Merry X-mas Sixty-8
Actaully McLaren is the real deal... not some over-glorified penis extension like some exotics that barely manage to outdo the Corvette. If you spend the time and read the story of this car... the 30-something years it existed as a hypothetical and the amazing job BMW did on the powerplant you would probably have respect for it. It's the brainchild and pipe dream of the company's namesake... Bruce McLaren. Gordo Murray played a very interesting role in this car's development too. One of my favorite things about the McLaren is how it was such a double-F-you and a slap in the face for Honda. They were asked to develop the V12 and laughed off the target weight-to-power ratio, and the target cost of developing the motor. For their first choice of Honda McLaren went to Mercedes Benz and then to BMW. Well guess what? BMW came in UNDER-Budget, aheasd of schedule and the weight requirement was met. Oh and one last thing... the engine's output was not the 600 horsepower that McLaren wanted... it was 627. Later that grew to about 640. Suck to be you Honda. Another reason why BMW kicks @$$!

Passion for Cars
Well said. I agree wiht most of the article, but damnit this is NOT the Golden Age of the Automobile..... you missed it by almost 4 decades... <_< Yes there is a wonderfull variety of cars and esp. performance vehicles but darnit the stylign these days just does not cut it nine times out of ten. For every sexy and unique car like a Infiniti M45 and Chevy Corvette there are three dozen Camcords out there. Look at a postcard form the 50s or 60s... even the smallest blurry image of the butt of a car is enough to tell it appart... these days if the lens is slightly out of Focus you have to wonder weather you're looking at a Camry, Altima, Accord, Stratus, Impala, Taurus or Lucerne... it's the age of the cookie cutter car. SAd but true. At least the retro and futurist trends seem to be taking us in the right direction. :)

Chrysler Imperial
Wow... let's hope it does as niced of a job of paying homage to the classic Imperials as the 300C does paying tribute to the classic 300 cars. Some awsome Imperials from back in the day:

Cadillac Eldorado
I've got a 4dr myself. :AH-HA_wink: Although we may be selling the STS soon... well trading it in is more accurate. If we had the money Marcia woud already be driving a SRT8 Charger in black, we're both absolutely Smitten by that car.

Letters to Santa
Dear Santa: Any one of these would be super! All three would make it the best Christmas of all. Just make sure the Buick is a hardtop and not a sedan. :AH-HA_wink: 1959 Buick anything but a sedan... a hearse would be super! 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (non-RS prefered) 1961/2 Cadillac. Any '61-'62 Caddy. Flower cars, Ambulances & Hearses included.

Any hope of Deville and Seville coming back?
I like SRX and STS, CTS is a bit too dry and XLR is very ambiguous and not very sexy... sounds like an SUV actaully... XtraLaRge. DTS is just horrific... it should be Deville and I really wiht Eldorado was back. One of the sexier names ever for a Cadillac was always CoupeDeVille... Eldorado Biaritz is damn good too.

Sexy Butts
Dang-it I messed up my post and delted most of it when I edited it. I was saying that the blonde in that Pacer ad turns me on beyond belief. I love voloptuous girls. A little cushin' of rhte pushin' as they say. Seriously though she may only be a painting but she's HOT. I have seen this ad before and even have it saved on my computer but had always assumed it was an ad form Quebec... now I noticed that it states PAris on the bottom. An interesitng fotnote in history is that the desinger of the Porsche 928 credits the Pacer butt as his inspiration. Truth is stranger than fiction.
