For me there are multiple choices.

Drag Racing for top fuel, powertrains, etc.

Autocross racing for real world auto's being raced

Drakar race for the off road excitement of what you can possibly purchase at your dealers lot.

I enjoy the v8 car races in New Zealand and they bring a lot of money in for local business people and also people get together and have a good time which is shown how the seats can get packed and hearing people enjoying the races and cheering the drivers on. I like the hot and cold drinks served their and, how it makes it more enjoyable when watching the races and sitting with friends and family makes it more enjoyable and drinking a cold drink and having a pie or hotdog is real nice. The races are enjoyable at the events but can cost more, which can put some people from going and just watching it online or when it comes on the televison and enjoying it from the comfort of their bedroom.

My favorite is prototype racing- LMP1, etc. I love the diversity, and seeing actual road car manufacturers battling it out. Plus, the tech that trickles down to production cars.

I also like GT racing and DTM a lot. F1 doesn't excite me much any more, and stock car racing is a bore. Ditto drag racing.

I enjoy a lot of motorsport and my favorite has varied over the years.

From a kid, my favorite was F1, then as I got older it went to touring cars, and now it is Le Mans style endurance racing.

I still enjoy touring cars but the cars they use now don't seem to have the finesse the cars of the mid 90's to very early 00's had. The same goes for Rally racing, especially WRC. F1, well that has become my least favorite motorsport because it just seems to be a procession now. The only real battles you get is at the first turn, then after that everything seems to run in the order like they are behind the safety car the entire race.

NASCAR and Indycar.  It's what I grew up on and still can't get enough of either.  I go to the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400 every year.  I also went to the first NASCAR Cup race at Kentucky, but that was such a fiasco that we haven't been back since.  I also enjoy USAC and World of Outlaws sprint/midget/Champ cars.

I grew up a fan of F1, Indy Car and NASCAR, still like all 3 plus sports car racing series like Tudor and WEC.  Also like DTM, WTCC, WRC and V8 Supercars.    I try and go to 2-3 NASCAR races a year (here in AZ and California) and 2-3 Indy Car races a year (the California ones).

So I had that typed up when my computer decided to freeze on the internet..(that is why it is also so faded..because it was frozen). Quick thinking, I took a snip of it and saved..otherwise I wasn't going to even retry.

To continue..

I love to watch the big dog NHRS guys go at it FOUR WIDE(Top fuel guys, dragsters and funny cars inparticular but I'll watch the pro stock as well). I'll watch them even when they aren't four wide lol. I plan to go to my first NHRA top fuel event at the end of the summer(Sept25-27 they come to STL). When I was a younger lad back in high school I even enjoyed a little stint at our local dirt track watching the late models get after it. That fad faded pretty quick because I wasn't making much money and it was $25/week to go plus if I wanted anything to eat or drink.. The entire TUDOR sports car series would be awesome to watch but that stuff isn't covered..at all..as far as I know. The smaller divisions like; Continental Tire Sportscar Series, Cooper Tires Prototype Lites, Ferrari Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, and Porsche GT3 Cup. They're shorter races, fairly close to factory cars(other than the prototype series), and not always the same guys occupying 1st or 2nd.

Pretty much anything. I just love racing. I'd like to get a toy car some day as just a track car. Wouldn't have to be anyting fancy or expensive, just something I can beat on and drive the hell out of. By the time I could afford something like that I think something like a BRZ would be perfect. Miatas may be better in all aspects but I just can't be attracted to convertibles.

Whew.. I kind of went all over the place with that!
