Generative AI Usage Policy

At Cheers and Gears, we are committed to providing personal, authentic, and high-quality content to our users. To maintain transparency and trust, we have established the following guidelines regarding the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) on our platform:

1. Content Generation: We do not use Generative AI technologies for creating any of the content published on our website. All articles, blog posts, and other written materials are created by our team of human writers to ensure originality and authenticity while bringing out the personality of the author.
2. Research: AI tools may be utilized to assist our team in conducting research. This includes gathering information, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support the development of our content. However, the final content is always crafted by our human writing team.
3. Editing: To enhance the quality and accuracy of our content, we may use AI-powered tools for proofreading and grammar checking. These tools help us identify and correct errors, ensuring that our content is polished and professional. We harness these tools in such a way that it does not strip the personality and humanity from our work.
4. Photography: We do use AI for retouching photographs that were taken by staff in the course of reviewing a vehicle or product. We do not use AI to materially change the vehicle in anyway. Any AI used on a vehicle is limited to removing dirt, photographic flaws, or people in or around the vehicle. The use of generative AI is primarily limited to the removal of undesirable items in the background of pictures. (see example at the bottom of this page)
5. User-Generated Content: Our website may feature content generated by users, such as comments, images, and forum posts. We acknowledge that some of this user-generated content may be created using AI tools. While we strive to monitor and maintain the quality of user contributions, we cannot fully control or verify the use of AI in user-generated content.
