"China alone loses between 100 million and 200 million tons of coal each year to mine fires, as much as 20 percent of their annual production, according to the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, based in Enschede, Netherlands. The Institute estimates that carbon dioxide emissions from these fires are as high as 1.1 billion metric tons, more than the total carbon dioxide emissions from automobiles in the United States."

YES, BUT....

Since America is now a country full of effeminate pussies, we ask OUR OWN to forfeit freedoms instead of doing the right thing and pressuring China to get their act together. It doesn't matter that they'll ruin our planet, the only thing that matters is that the 'paper dragon' US doesn't want to piss the pit bull (China) off.

The US can't pressure other nations to clean up cause it'll look like a hypocrite. China pollutes more GHG emissions than the US by a percent or two, but they have 4+ times the population. However, it seems international pressure is pushing both superpowers to get their act together, not to mention the concerns of their own residents.
