Genesis had revealed their worldwide new concept car strategy in Liwa Oasis, United Arab Emirates. This concept car strategy begins with the New X Skorpio Concept, an extreme off-road concept vehicle designed to tackle any demanding terrain including the Rub' al Khali desert in the United Arab Emirates. X-Skorpio Concept

The X Scorpio Concept sets a new benchmark for off-road driving equipped with a high-performance V8 engine delivering 1,100 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque in an AWD platform. The X Scorpio Concept has the following specifications:

  • 18-inch beadlock wheels
  • 40-inch off-road tires
  • Brembo Motorsport Brakes
  • Generous Approach and departure angles
  • Short Wheelbase with high break-over angle
  • Fine Tuned High Performance Suspension
  • High clearance fenders, skid plates and reenforced chassis
  • Integrated Roll Cage with 4-point harness system
  • Aerodynamically optimized for minimal drag
  • Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber, and Kevlar body work

Safety being a concern for Genesis, the X Scorpio has an innovative approach to balancing performance with control, allowing for reliable handling and ensuring safe landings.

The X Scorpio Concept redefines luxury in the off-road segment, far surpassing the stripped-down utilitarianism of traditional off-road trucks. Genesis incorporated ergonomic seating, intuitive controls, climate control to enhance performance and reduce driver fatigue. From steering wheel incorporated instrument cluster to sliding displays which allows reconfiguration between solo-riders and co-piloted mode to safety grab handles, advanced communication system that allow the ultimate for remote environments. 

The X Scorpio has an uncompromising interior and exterior design inspired by a Black Scorpion delivering a design of readiness for anything that crosses its path.
