i GOT IT OFF OF EBAY IT DIDN'T SAY WHICH UNIT IT WAS. -
Well, on the larger GMT-800 trucks (Tahoe, Yukon, etc.), there are 2 different Nav models: the one for all the "basic" amp BOSE systems and the one for the "luxury" amp BOSE systems. They look identical, but are NOT interchangeable.
Did you happen to get a "luxury" Y91/Y92 option one then? If so, that's why it won't work, and isn't going to without some significant modifications (if anything at all).
Where did you get it from?

I installed An Navigation radio into my 2004 buick rainier, It was locked so I took it to the dealer to get it unlocked, they tried to program it, but they said it wasn't able to program it, it shows a display for the AM and FM Bands and the other displays, but there is no sound from it, I don't have option for Y91 or Y92.
Is there something I can do to get sound from it. or add something. assistance needed.

I HAVE A 2004 BUICK RAINIER AND I GOT AN GM NAVIGATION RADIO INSTALLED THE DISPLAY WORKS, AND THE CD ALSO WORKS IT VER 1.0 FOR NOW, I'M GOING TO UP GRADE, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THERE IS NO SOUND FROM THE RADIO, I HAVE NO OPTION Y91 0R Y92, IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET THE SOUND PLAYING WITH OUT HAVING TO SPEND ANYMORE OF MY MONEY. ,
OR DO ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS A NON LUX NAVIGATION UNIT , WOULD LIKE TO TRADE FOR A LUX NAVIGATION.
