  1. Has anyone seen the spy pic of the camaro over on GMInsideSnooze. It looks interesting. It is hosted over on a failing companies website and GM has told them to take it down, whatever that means. Comments anyone!

"Not everyone is backing away from the fleet market. Toyota Motor Corp. ( 7203.TO), the top-selling Japanese automaker, boosted fleet sales 16% in the first seven months of 2005 compared to the like period in 2004, according to R.L. Polk, while Nissan Motor Co. (7201.TO) and Honda Motor Co. (7267.TO) have upped fleet business 25% and 30% respectively. Even though each of Japan's Big Three have boosted sales in 2005, fleet increases far outpace the rate of growth for each company."

"Jon Lauckner, General Motors’ global product planning boss, says the Vauxhall two-seater will come to market with a 2.0-liter supercharged four-cylinder. The engine is expected to produce in excess of 200 hp and peak torque of 200 lb-ft, according to insiders. Look for the boosted engine in Solstice and Sky late next year" :alcoholic: :alcoholic: :alcoholic:
  4. Originally we were waiting because of bandwidth concerns, but now it appears the pic cannot be posted because GM could take legal action against C&G.

So then what is the deal with the Saturn pics? From what is stated it was found along with all of the other info, yet it is still on the front page. Does this legal action only concern Cadillac? :alcoholic: :alcoholic: :alcoholic:

"In terms of raw acceleration, the Z06 is world-class quick, though not quite a match for its cross-town Mopar rival, the Dodge Viper SRT-10. Our vBox test gear clocked a 4.2-second 0-60 run, nearly reaching this speed in 1st gear, where the Dodge sprints there in 4.0; likewise, the Z06 dispatches the quarter-mile in 12.3 sec. at 116.6 mph, while its V-10-powered adversary cranks out a 12.1 at 119.3. The Viper feels quicker too in a roll-on situation, its extra 1.3 liters of displacement practically punting you forward, versus the still-forceful but more linear surge of the Z06."
  6. "We broke all the rules developing this car," ....

It's about time. For decades, GM's own rules -- risk-analysis calculations that squeezed the emotion out of its cars -- were its worst enemy. It's time to throw the rule book out.

Now if the engineers can do this with the rest of their vehicles the General might just make it back in command.
