  1. With the news of the holden sedan getting the LS7 I think its a sure-in for the CTS-V getting close to 600hp from a blown LS3. It don't matter how far off the launch of the car is there won't be much competition certainly not from BMW.

  2. Some thoughts:
-The Black Escalade looks far and away the best of all the colors I've seen. It looks frickin amazing that color. It really makes the hint of chrome in the grille stand out.
-The Ebony interior looks the best as well. I think the black interior doesnt bode well with the brighter shade of wood they put in it. They should have gone with a darker shade of wood for the black interior.
-The design is still a bit jellybeanish, and I cant understand what would drive GM to not even differentiate the sheet metal from the Yukon if they did it so in the GMT-800s. It just doesnt make sense, at all.
-The center stack looks crummy without the GPS.
-Im starting to think that the new CTS, not the Escalade, will be one of General Motors most important vehicles in the next few years. Seeing as how the market is shifting, and better Chryslers (300) and foreigners (BMW 3 series, Audi A-4, VW Passat, etc.) are starting to be produced, the CTS, not the Escalade, will show exactly how important the consumer and quality is to Cadillac. I dont really care that the Escalade was watered down. It's a nice vehicle. Perfect for what it is. An upscale iconic truck, made for 22 inch wheels and driving to front row seats at a ballpark. The CTS is different. Anyone from a company exec to an average joe can look into one, for different reasons. That car is where my hope for Caddy, and GM lie. If that car doesn't come through, flawlessly, then I'll throw my arms up in the air. They have time to produce it. If it gets watered down and looks like a damn A4...

I totally agree. The stiffer market is the sport sedan 30k area and GM can't afford to drop the ball. Its even evident by the amount of changes over time other car makers have done to there midsize sedans. They haven't stayed the same for long.
  3. ANY of them, because I WANT to see the interior!!!  Similarly, I also want to know concrete info on specs, options, features, etc.

So, right now, I'd say Tahoe, because it'll be the first http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/AH-HA_wink.gif

Yet I still agree on the Yukon points, because it will be interesting to see if they REALLY differentiated it from the Chevy or if it's like now, a different grille and wheels, but EVERYTHING else the same.

The Escalade, regardless of how much improved it is, is kinda last on my list, because if the core essentials of the Tahoe are great, the Caddy can only get that much nicer.

First off I want to say that I'm still in a state of shock after seeing these pics. The tahoe interior and exterior is perfect for chevy. Now for GMC and the denali model, i'm hopping for a closer match to the Lade than the tahoe. Looking how conservative the luxury appointments to the tahoe's interior appears to be, I think the best is yet to come.
  4. Looking at the huge difference between the current and last gen STS, I think Caddy did a hell of a job. With the updated versions of both the CTS and STS right around the corner, I think Caddy will definitely split up this pair. You will probably see a CTS with the same size interior but a much smaller exterior. With the STS I think the wheels are going to be set farther apart and the design to be much more aggressive. But really when you look at how far caddy has come in the last couple of years you have nonthing to complain about.
