Thats what I'm waiting for. Not sure I'd be interested in a measely 140hp when I can get more in a Cobalt SS or Mazda3 S.
Anybody know WHERE its going to be manufactured?
It's a hot looking car for sure! I even like the interior, with the exception of the radio. It looks cheap and subpar.

Because it is the right thing to do. If that was your car getting pounded wouldn't you want someone to say something?
You DEFINITELY should have said SOMETHING to her, in order that it might prevent her from doing it again to someone else's car. Some people just don't know how idiotic they are and have to be made aware of it.

That front end is a little overstated.

went to the autoshow again today. sat in many of the Jap anese cars and several Auras. I like the Aura more and more now. The Aura and Milan really made good impressions on me again today. Even though the Aura is a bit small, it's a very 'intimate' car. And all the people that sat in the Aura with me loved the Aura as well. Many commented on how much GM is improving interiors.
The XR with leather and paddle shifters is a tremendous buy and a great car at around 26k. And the interior is a great single person mid sized sedan.
American cars are closing the "quality-gap" against the Japanese cars. The European car quality has tanked.
One of the best things about the Aura which certainly no comparo would address is that the Aura is built by an American company. I can't fathom giving $25,000 to a foreign corporation.
With GM talking about laying off workers, I'd rather keep my neighbors in Kansas working, rather than people in countries who may wish us ill. South Korea turns over a large chunk of their gross domestic product to that lunatic in North Korea...

it's beautiful. love that color. How do you like the suspension? I recently drove a G6 that I wasn't so impressed with, I guess it was the regular V6 3500 version.
Thanks, the black "onyx" color makes the car handsome, according to my neighbor. My second choice was the bluish-gray color ("ocean mist").
The suspension is stiff, more like a sports car. Its not ultra-smooth like a Caddy or a Lincoln Town Car, a different ride altogether, but the car is fun to drive and gets noticed.

There's a reason GM did not retain the Oldsmobile name, Oldsmobile represented the past ("it WAS your father's Olsmobile"), whereas Saturn represented an image that was more fresh and exciting!
As far as "no haggling" goes, when I purchased my 2007 Saturn Aura on March 31, 2007, there WAS definitely some haggling. Initially, the Saturn dealer told me with $3500 down, the price would be about $400 per month for 48 months. I told the Saturn dealer that the local Ford dealer was going to put me into a comparably equipped Ford Fusion for $375/mo (all true), same terms. The Saturn dealer reeled me in by agreeing to a $380 per month payment, and I couldn't be happier to be a satisfied Saturn customer. I LOVE my Aura.

Belgium? Brutal... If it has to be built in Europe, I would've preferred it was built in Great Britain or Italy. At least its not built in France! I sure as hell wouldn't buy anything from the frogs.
