  1. Thanks for deleting my post guys.

If you want a post gone, PM me first instead with a reason and I will take care of it.

This is why other members have left.

Oh, wait. I forgot whose thread this is ... right.

I guess mine was deleted too. Whatever. Until the owners/moderators realize that the reason that this site WAS popular was for the ability of people to post their honest opinions and call other posters on their bull$h! (unlike other sites), it will continue to lose member after member.

I give this post 1:1 odds of being deleted too.

  2. Oh but I am special now, and I was then too, which is why I was offered a position on the GM Audit Staff back then, but I decided to go to Opel instead, seemed like the better choice back then.

You really should read what I wrote instead of wanting to see something that is not there, where in what I wrote did I say I fired them? What I said was GM fired those managers. Please go back and reread that. :smilewide:

I'm not sure what renduncies or believeing are, I guess Hooked on Phonics worked for you ... :rotflmao:

Know this too, I won't be leaving on 02/17/09, much to your dismay I'm sure ...

I don't know why you hate, when all I have for you is love ... Even more so now, since I just went through a cancer scare that a few people here know about, I found out last week that I don't have it, but it was two months of Hell, and I had to go through more $h! in that two months, than you could ever throw my way ... So yeah, I'm all about the love now ...

Enjoy your day, I know I am, life is too short ...

You're right. 100%. You never did say you fired people. But that sure is the impression you wanted to give everyone reading it, that you have that kind of power. But you do that in all your posts. Let's go back to that first post where you said plants were "under your control". Whatever, I guess that's one way to avoid criticism.

Take a step back. What would the average reader think that meant? They would probably think somehow that you were controlling those plants' day to day operations, which couldn't be farther from the truth. But your answer will always be something along the lines "I didn't lie about any of that, go back and re-read it." But some around here have more knowledge about GM and the auto industry than you might think and can see what you are trying to do.

See, you choose your words carefully to accomplish one of 2 things in almost all your posts:

    1. Deliberately push the buttons of other posters to get them agitated.

Why? No one but you knows that.

    2. Either post entire lines of bull$h! or leave out certain things so that others somehow think you have huge influence in overseeing GM. You don't. You're not that special.

Why? The only thing I can think of is that you lack self confidence in real life and need people on the internet to like you and make you feel important, so that in your eyes, you are better than everyone else. And that's just sad.

As for the mis-spleeings...whoops, I didn't take the time to hit spell check. Darn. If that's all you got, you're reaching. I do have buttons you can push, but spelling is not one of them, especially if it happens when typing, I'll be the first to admit I suck at it (oh, but wait, that further emphasizes item #2 above, you're a better speller than me!)

And as for that hippie nonsense about love/hate, that's just silly. I don't hate you just as much as you don't love me. Its the INTERNET. I generally enjoy reading posts on this site, but can't stand it when I see someone constantly trying to prove he's better than everyone else here or flat out laying down the bull$h!. That's seems to be the reason I only respond to your posts, haven't seen other posters resort to that behavior. And I'm willing to guess I'm not the only one around here that has started seeing all this....I've seen the posts in other threads.

Either way, I figure this thread has played out and no one wants to continue reading this exchange, so until the next line of drivel emerges from your keyboard, I will fade back into the background.

    Cheers!

  3. Different impression, not at all, my 1st post is the same as my 2nd. Actually I told them what I wanted and they had to comply ... If not, it would be reported to their divisional management and to GM. In my particular field at the time I was the SME, and I enforced on those 4 plants what GM wanted done. I was so good at what I did, so much so, I was asked to join a special team to make sure all GM plants in North and South America complied. You either did as instructed or GM fired the managers who didn't. Two in Canada thought GM was joking, sadly they didn't work at GM long. Funny how the rest soon complied ...

But as I said I don't do that anymore, but I'm still good at it ... :smilewide:

Wow, you sure can spin bull$h! into silk, can't you? Good to see in other threads, others are starting to call your bull$h! as well.

Just to be perfectly clear to the others here, GM has HUNDREDS (thousands?) of SMEs....actually, technically now that they have cut a lot of fat and don't have the renduncies in job positions anymore, everyone is a "SME" at what they do. You aren't special.

And please don't tricked into believeing that he actually fired any plant management. He may have owned some process that they didn't follow and ratted them out to higher ups, but he by no means called them into his office and actually told them to hit the road.

    But please go on......

  4. Ahh I was wondering where you were, I've missed you ..

As a matter of fact all four plants reported up through me on one particular subject of which I was the SME at that time, oh by the way, I am still very good at my old job, even though I don't do it anymore ... :smilewide:

Slightly different than the first impression you gave, now isn't it? But now you give the impression that all these plants were calling you every morning awaiting their instructions on what to do for the day.

Why don't your REALLY tell them what a SME does?

  5. At one time, Linden assembly, along with Baltimore, Doraville and Wilmington assemblies were under my control as a subject matter expert. I thought I would share this with you, it makes me sad when I think about all the people that use to work at Doraville, Baltimore, and Linden ...

Baltimore, Doraville, and Wilmington were never "under your control". Why don't you tell them what a SME really does, because it sure as $h! ain't running operations at 3 manufacturing plants.

    Stop the self-edifying bull$h!.

  6. Please - Do not BS me. There is nothing significant in what you say.

Well, well, look at that - someone else calling your bull$h!. The difference here is that I'm just "some guy" with a dozen or so posts while evok actually has a well established history for knowing what is going on in the auto industry and a good chance he knows much more than you do about what is happening inside GM, despite your status as a self proclaimed "high up" employee *cough, cough..low level grunt, cough*

  7. When I 1st started at GM in Arlington, TX. I was told all Impalas were built there from the early 60's.

And this just re-emphasizes that you guys shouldn't believe anything this clown writes on the internet. His entire point with every post is to 1) Subtly tell you how better he is than you and 2) get you all worked up about issues you are passionate about by stating the opposite of your beliefs, just to get a response out of you.

And hopefully nobody believes that this guy is in any position to influence GM or GME. He's not, the big decisions are made way above his pay grade.

  8. Remember, GME makes money, GMNA does not.

Yeah, things are really all happy and rosey over there:

    http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...&refer=home

Don't know about all that, all I know is the current one is selling like hotcakes here.

Yeah, selling like hotcakes so fast, they're cutting production:

General Motors' temporary shutdowns also affect plants in Ellesmere Port and Luton, in England, as well as Zaragoza, Spain, reducing production of the Astra, Corsa and Zafira models, Kroemer said.
  9. Yes, you'd be better off ignoring me, since you have nothing realistic to offer whatsoever, and you're so far out of your depth on this subject it's laughable.

aatbloke, I guess you win.... you answer with facts in this thread that he never directly addresses and you (and others) call his bull$h! in the Holden thread about this "theoretical" Swiss car and his response is to call you a troll and ignore your posts so he won't see them....classic!

Just like a 6 year old taking his ball and running home to his mom instead of sticking up for himself!

    :rotflmao:

  10. post

Duck, weave, attempt to change the subject, no talk of proving the Swiss car's existence (shhh, maybe the thread will go away if its not talked about)....reminds me of a shampoo bottle:

    Lather, rinse, repeat.

  11. It's like pulling teeth talking to you. The car was transferred to a Vauxhall employee now? LOL! Rubbish! You mean to tell me that Vauxhall received the car after 1 March 2008 (it's on an 08 plate) and gave to an employee within a month (the tax disc runs out on 31 March 2009, meaning it was taxed any time in March 2008)?? By the way, regular issue licence plate registrations stay with the car for life in the UK and get transferred from owner to owner, unless the owner has a private - or cherished - plate. And how does Peterborough then figure into the equation? The picture was taken on 7 April 2008, so the car was there for a service in a matter of weeks? You've either been conned yourself, you're conning everyone else here.

A production vehicle could be brought to the States under the VSP or VSA rules depending how the NHTSA class it, however it would still require a registered importer. That's for a production car, not a prototype which you previously stated these particular vehicles were. GM bending the rules to suit itself? Like I said, get to know a few RIs and experience matters for yourself before repeatedly coming out with such tripe.

    .......................

The reason you dislike me so much is that I have seen straight through the BS you've consistently peddled from the first day I joined these forums. With that kind of behaviour, you have as little respect for people in your own country as you do of those in mine.

    ^^^ Awesome post.

The only way we will ever learn if the truth is if there are pictures of the LS7 under the hood (and not ones copy/pasted from publically searched Flickr accounts). And we know that's never going to happen (which excuse will it be? Violation of company policy? (despite him always "hinting" at future product as "fact") Not enough time during the day, because he's so important, to take a picture? Being on vacation? (in which he will conveniently forget this topic when vacation is over) An attempt to change the subject based upon something else said? (probably) Perhaps a snarky remark with an emoticon to try and divert attention?)

My advice aatbloke: stick with the facts you know and keep calling him out on that, ditch the topics of "Americanism" and Saturn, those are just things he will bring up to attempt change the subject away from this "supposed" Swiss car and the British one. He's probably just pissed he's stuck with a 3-door Corsa as his company car.

And now cue the next round of BS in 3.....2.....1......go!

  12. In any case, I wanted to see the Swiss-based car, which PCS refused to show on the basis that "he didn't know me from Adam" and nothing about him being under any professional obligation not to. Indeed, if that were the case he wouldn't be promoting pictures which are on someone's publicly accessible Flickr account, either.

I am going to guess you're never going see pics of this supposed Swiss-based car.

I am also going to guess you aren't going to get a reply from him other than "It's a prototype, it has an LS7, you just can't see it. Trust me."

I'm joining in and raising the :bs:

  13. I agree about the 2 mode hybrid..

However, GM cannot let the press dictate its choices like that. Acura is going full speed ahead with a V8 sports car. The Germans are still going to build V8 luxury cars... etc...etc...

If GM allows itself to be "controlled" out of the market, then the battle against them is already won. No performance Camaro is a dumb move (Not everyone wants a Vette, just like not everyone wants a Chevrolet) If the Z28 were to flood the market with 30,000 cars, then I could see the logic of canceling it. But at 5,000 cars?!?! Really?!?! Not having a V8 in Cadillacs is suicide, especially when you're still trying to be noticed over MB and BMW, not to mention when Infiniti is beating down your door. Shutting down/eliminating all of your real trucks is ignorance when people still need them and will still buy them in pretty big numbers and the programs cost pennies to make (Compared to thing s such as... NEW SAABS that will never provide the same return)

GM is basically regulating itself into an also ran. GM is giving up. GM is doing exactly what the anti-Detroit media and loud motuhs want; they're laying on their back and taking it.

On a related note; why does the Z28 have to be a 'bling-bling' Shelby KR competitor? (ala ZR1, except in a different bracket) Why not decontent an SS, give it a bit of a performance bump to make it the fastest and most track ready car in the camaro stable and sell it that way? (ala Z06) The Z28 was NEVER meant to be a show off piece, it was meant to be a track car. I love the GT500KR as much as anyone here, but it's pretty much useless in the grand scheme of things. I can mod a GT or GT500 to go much faster for probably less money.

The internet is a funny place. Anybody can post anything and some will always interpret it as the truth and some will interpret it as a lie/propaganda.

For those who are active in this forum in the link below, they know exactly who this person is. Much more reliable than some of the other employees on this site.
