• Description 1959 Buicks are amongst the coolest cars of all time, including exotic cars & the ultra rare stuff. They are gorgeous & very unique but their styling is just the tip of the iceberg.

Consider that, with its "canted quad headlights" it is easily the ANGRIEST looking car ever made, while being one of the most elegant & clean designs of the 1950s. Add that those huge Delta Wing tailfins, one of the most fascinatingly intricate instrument panels on a car EVER and you have the beautiful package that is unlike any before or since.

The frame of this beast is so over-built it reminds one of the German King Tiger Tank while the Nailhead V8 was a Legend in its own time and the Dynaflow "Twin Turbine" transmissions was decades ahead of its time!

The only thing my LeSabre lacks is a hardtop greenhouse since it's a 2-door Sedan, someday I might trade it for a 1959 Buick four door "FLATTOP" hardtop so that I can enjoy the lack of a B-pillar.

I always thought the 59-60 David Dunbars were odd looking but as time goes on I'm liking them more and more
