  1. Hi All, just a quick question - I own a 1999 Silverado Extended Cab LT which is equipped with power heated side mirrors. The other night I parked on a street in atown I was visiting and when I pulled my mirror in toward the window to prevent someone from inadvertantly snapping it off... it snapped off. It is still attached, but the rotating mechanism has come apart and I had to tape the thing in place. Great. So My question is this: Has anyone here experienced the same thing on their Silverado? If so, is it repairable or do I really need to shell out for a new mirror? Is the replacement fairly easy or do I also need to pay high labour costs to install? Thanks - Moe
