The rims are probably show-only just like with the G8.

I'm pretty happy to say though that I like our G8 better.

Is this the 'door trim' issue that caused the poor results?

As far as i have heard there was apart added inside the door that caused the problem . Im not sure if this part had changed the routing of the wires which caused the pinch condition in an accident

The problem is with a sensor wire being cut in the front doors in side impact crashes before the signal released the air bags.The wire hrness is being rerouted to prevent this

Hope they go tp the single scale speedometer like in the HHR it looks so much cleaner

This brings up several questions:

1.  Are LaCrosse sales slow?  Really?  Part of it is their fault - there are areas in which it could have been better and people have chimed in on that?

2.  Will there be a mid-cycle enhancement?  That is, 2008. How about for Grand Prix (which is supposed to continue). And how does GP continue when it is pretty much accepted that LaX, on the same platform, is the better of the two?

3.  P-L-E-A-S-E don't bring back the Skylark name.  So dorky, sorry.  Maybe they should have gone "Allure" across the board.

GM's maneuvers and shell gaming is getting really hard to follow.  Does anybody have a clue as to what their compact to full-size line-up will look like in 3 years?  I am truly flustered.

That article is old news its dated March 20th. GM announced last November they would cut the 3rd shift in June 06 and cap production at 250k but I haven't heard any news about it since then. CARBIZ you said you read the 3rd shift would not be cut, got any more news on that?

I work there and have heard nothing on the timeline for the third shift going down
