  1. It would be cool to people from C&G.

This is the only message board I post on, I generally don't care for them, but I like this one.

I would like to take part in a C&G get-together party, but getting the time to go it tough.

Are there any other C&G members that live in Virginia or am I the only one? If there are maybe we can do something here.

  2. Oh wow, so sorry to hear that--glad she's doing better.

At least one thing, if the climb up doesn't become a nuisance, few vehicles are as comfortable, safe, and fun (all in one) as these SUV's. I actually know of a few people specifically with different disabilities that have Tahoes, Suburbans, etc. simply because they're one of the few things they can actually drive and ride in comfortably from a seat & space standpoint.

The climb up can be a pain, but she can just slide out. She has always wanted a Tahoe and she can't wait to drive it. She has ridden in it and loves it. She likes how high up she sits.

  3. Sounds great--what's the delay?

She had a really bad car accident back on December 7. She was hit head on when some stupid little teenage bitch came across a grass median and hit her. My Mom got f@#ke up pretty bad, she wasn't even expected to make it the first 48 hours.

Right now my Mom is doing well, it will be at least another month before she can walk.

  4. I would love to see GM, Ford, and Chrysler bail out on NASCAR and start thier own series. The sport would fall apart from that. There are team owners tied too close to certain manufacturers. Roush to Ford, Childress to Chevy, Evernham to Dodge. I think that if the big three did leave those owners would go to, along with some drivers who feel loyalty. The best example of that would be Dale Earnhardt Jr. He turned down offers from JGR, RYR, and Evernham, to take a deal with Hendrick so he would be in a Chevy.

nissan has expressed intrest in NASCAR but I don't know if it has gone much further than that. hyundai could be a possibility, it wouldn't suprise me. So I guess it would be toyota, hyundai, nissan, and maybe even mazda.

  5. I am personally disgraced by the lack of ethics that are involved in these former American Sports in the taking of blood money from the Japanese. And yes, it is BLOOD money - the blood of the workers that are getting sold out, and the blood of the Dollar that is getting further and further devalued due to trade deficits and further loss of jobs in this country.

Bass fishing, NASCAR (which is a farce any more) Craftsman Truck series, and all of the other events that Toyota have bought are now off my radar as events I will support or attend. Vote with your dollars people, all of Joe Gibbs sponsors...boycott them as much as possible. I will and do regularly.

toyota has the NASCAR brass, and the media convinced that since they build cars in America, they are American cars.

  6. YJ, your post count is still there and your still an "ultra member" If you look at it it would seem that you posted over 5,000 times in two weeks.

Can't one of the admins change your member number back to 74?

  7. Just means the last owner de-badged it...it's clearly a Z71, not an LT (but same interior).

Good choice. 2004 was a fine year...that's what our Suburban was, which served us very well before trading it for the new Malibu at 56k.

What's the mileage and such on this one?

44,000 miles on it. This thing had an easy life, everything is so clean. Aside from a stain in the carpet in the cargo area, the interrior looks and feels new. It's GM Certified used so the powertrain is backed with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty.
