  1. HAH! That is classic. Many American politicians have some pretty ugly wives; California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria "Skeletor" Shriver and former ASSachusetts first lady Kitty Dukakis come to mind most readily.

You know what's really funny, though? Dennis Kucinich has a really hot wife. That strange little ancient dork leprechaun of a man has a hot tall redheaded English wife that's 31 years younger than he is.

What other American politicians have wives that aren't painful to look at?

Fred Thompson's wife was gorgeous, and Mitt Romney's sons are beautiful. Mitt Romney was really good looking back in the day too.

  2. Well if there aren't any pyro cues, I'm just not going to pay attention to you. :D

No worries, I'll give you a REALLY BIG light show... all you have to do is ask!And fly 3,000 miles in addition to finding out where I live...

  3. Hey there, so last week I was trying to develop my photoshop skills (specifically my ability to create images with a 3-d metallic finish). To do so, I created a modified Saturn logo as practice. Paolino asked me to try my hand at Buick, and after a week of delay (Hey, I had 2 papers and an exam!) I actually finished one this morning.

In all honesty, I don't think i like it. It's a little too different, and doesn't exude the classy yet modern that Buick is trying to exude. I'll probably try again, but until then I present to you: "Jon's Official-Unofficial-2008 Buick Logo"!

  4. Nothing is wrong with polygamy given that individuals are old enough to determine that that is the they want to go in. If an individual at the age of 25, after weighing the alternatives, opts to enter a community marriage, then I support it whole heartedly.

The difference between that situation and virtually all polygamist sects is that people are brought up in this culture with no education or knowledge of life outside of the community. They are raised in a culture of fear, and forced into these decisions (if you can call it that) well before they have the cognitive ability to do so.

  5. My favorite is the replace color function in the edit--->image section. It allows you to select several various hues and change the hue, lightness, and saturation instantly. The ability to select all the various hues of a color makes you able to accurately change the color of the whole object while leaving shadows and other effects in their place.

  6. Great work. I agree with Oldsmoboi about the name being taken out. Its not needed since you did such a great job incorporating the rings of Saturn into the logo.

    Good job son!

Gee, Thanks pop! *Beaver Clever Moment* :D

  7. Aww shucks, thanks kids!

Oldsmoboi: Chianti does sound good! Have you ever had Aziano Ruffino? Ruffino is by far my favorite Chainti, and the Aziano version is so smooth it practically melts in your mouth! And there are a few logo's I'd like GM to update. I think the classic logos such as Chevy, Buick, & Caddy are fine as is (they have been stylistically modified recently), whilst some others like Saturn, Saab, and Pontiac could do with a bit of an update.

  8. Hi Kids,

I'm trying to hone in my photoshop skills with various different effects. I've been running across a bunch of various logos with unique special effects (like gloss, textures, etc) and essentially recreating/modifying them. I decided I wanted to try my hand at creating a metallic look (like those used on Automotive badges) and two hours later, I finished my modified version of the Saturn logo (I decided I wanted to see what it would look like as a circle). There are a few physical design errors (like the angle of the "rings"), but what I need to see is if it looks metallic to someone who hasn't been working on it.

    Thanks a bunch!

  9. Oh JD, if you were my boy you'd have that bright red G8. You certainly deserve it working so hard in school and sacrificing. Let daddy take care of ya. :)

It's days like these where I begin to think I need to take you up on that offer. I saw a G8 GT on the road today and my jaw dropped. It is beautiful!

Seriously, I'm beginning to think that my parents crippled me with their "morals" and "independence". :AH-HA_wink:
