Power Tour was amazing. Lots of great memories.

Looks great, what polish are you using?

Almost forgot the best part

I'll be going from Michigan to St. Louis.

Spring has arrived, and road course season resumes again. These were at Putnam Park road course with a different photographer. Lots more open road around the track this time.

Tell 'em you just filed for bankruptcy.

Disappointed in Volt sales.
Camaro continues to perform well, YTD ahead of mustang by 15k units.

Hit another HPDE a few weekends ago, here are a few pics:

Interesting article on bangshift about how Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger have killed off Nissan's 350z sales.

Camaro also solidly beating Mustang

Saw my first Volt today driving home from chicago, it was white.

This car can do amazing things.

There was an episode of Top Gear about that type of car.

Black Camaros look fantastic when they're clean and shiny, but man is the color high maintenance. Congrats.
Glad that the GTO is still around - wish mine was.
Best all-around car I ever owned.
Agreed. I completely take my wife's 2006 GTO for granted. Still super-reliable at 60k miles and a lot of fun to drive.

It's a work in progress, going to change the headlights to a dark grey (cyber grey), and tint the windows. That chrome GS badge is also going to have to be changed.
Taking it to a hpde at a road course near chicago next weekend.
This car is amazing; some of GM's finest work. Zora would certainly be proud. The handling and grip is insane, certainly helped by the 325 wide rear tires. The LS3 does not disappoint.

Hot Rod power tour - do the Long Haul.

Bought the inferno orange one - pics up in a couple of days.

The stripes are vinyl sticker type I believe. They're definitely not painted.
I've always liked black, my last three toys have been black - I need to try a different color.

I think I need to get off the black kick and try a new color.
That being said, it's down to an inferno orange:
I agree it looks better with the dark headlights and gunmetal wheels, but that combination isn't for sale anywhere. I wonder how much it would cost to buy dark headlight assemblies, probably $$$$.
or cyber grey:
I'm leaning towards cyber grey right now. I will probably get the one in New Hampshire, it has all the options I want, good price, and will be easier to pull off the look I want.
FUTURE OF GM:
This does look awesome,
I'm looking for a deal, so I'm stuck with existing inventory.

^^^ I like that black. Good luck with your search.
14/20 mpg????
Try Stingray Chevrolet - supposedly the second biggest Corvette dealer.
It should be 16/26, those are zr1 numbers. You'd be amazed all the wrong info you find on these advertisements. Cars listed as automatics, with pictures that show a manual trans, stuff like that.
Does this make me a bad Corvette owner?

I put this trailer hitch and tire trailer setup together this fall to give myself a little piece of mind when I take my car on trips to the track. I will feel much more comfortable making the trips to Road America and Heartland Park (I currently live near Chicago) next year knowing I have a full set of wheels and tires with me. Tire trailer did great on the highway, couldn't even feel it back there.
See you at the track.
