    Working up to management is key in the world of automobile sales. The #1 salesman should be the 2nd highest paid person other than the owner, but it takes a unique individual, usually assholes. Management, while commision based is far more stable, as you get to rely on each sales person, not just yourself. I personally went the business office route, better hours better pay.
