  1. . I am a "geezer" and i certainly would not put a convertble top on one, it is ulgly enought. Yes, I have driven one and no, cue does not bother me. Do you not think you will ever be old one day.

  2. I have been a long time fan of Cadillac, since 1957. I never really cared for a Lincoln but I do like the Town Car. I rented one and drove it to California. It was comfortable, rode very well, and had plenty of room. I hate these new cars and would never consider a Genesis, or even the XTS. I currently own 3 Cadillacs and this DTS will probably be my last Cadillac. I have been driving them since 1970. In fact, I do not plan on ever buying a new car again. The styling on these newer cars is hideous.

  3. As a current DTS owner and Cadillac owner for 41 years this thing doesn't do it for me. I hate the way the thing looks, and they still don't get it. I personally don't want a 6 cylinder engine in my Caddie, I don't care how powerful it is supposed to be. This thing is not a Cadillac.

  4. Nope, you're not the only one that noticed, Mr. Hudson. We had a thread here lamenting it a few weeks back. Some Italian dude bought the last one off the line.

I read that thread...and that's not the point. The loss of the DTS and/or the Northstar aren't as important as the lost of REAL Cadillac engines. "Some Italian dude" (really? This is how you describe Bulgari?) bought the last DTS, but that car was powered by the LAST CADILLAC ENGINE! All of the 2012 models have engines that can be purchased to power a Chevrolet or a Buick or an Opel with nothing exclusive to Cadillac.

That is my complaint, also, I don't want a Cadillac with a Chevrolet or Buick engine, I rented a CTS and drove it on a 1,000 mile trip, and believe that was the most uncomfortable auto trip I have ever been on. That POS is far from being a Cadillac.

  5. Geezer DTS. don't you think you're ever going to get old, you won't always be young and one day that geezer DTS will seem very comfortable. I rented a CTS and drove it to Iowa from Oklahoma and it was very uncomfortable and way too small. I prefer a larger car with more room.

  6. Good concept, but it would be better if it wasn't a front drive V6 crossover being compared to a rocket. If they did it with the CTS-V that would be cool. And as long as they build the geezer DTS, Cadillac isn't reinvented.
  7. Invicta comes from a latin word, roughly translated means "not being able to be

conquered," invincible. We had a 1960 Invicta four door hardtop, 1st Buick,

I got my driver's license when we had it, I likd the name a lot better than Lucerne

or Lacrosse, I would prefer Invicta or Electra, the last Buick we had a 1967 225

before we switched to Cadillac in 1970. I am a real fan of those older Buicks, I

haven't really cared for the styling of any Buick since 1969 We also had a 1964

Wildcat, that was a beautiful car, too.
